I don't know if having the brand name on the front, and as large as it is could be considered a negative, but otherwise this is a very good buy. It has a good range of features and the quality of photographs and video is very good due to its high spec. The music has a 2W output which is slightly more than many similar products. It is quite nice to listen to, but for real quality of sound you would need to connect a pair of seperate speakers to the audio out socket. At one stage I found that it was not reponding consistantly to the remote control commands, but then I found that the power input jack-plug had worked loose and was not pushed in far enough - something to consider with any other frame you might purchase. With all connections firmly in place it works well and gives a thoroughly good experience.

RC This photo frame is just what I was looking for. Large frame size (15 inch), with two USB connection: one for reading the U Flash Disk; one for connecting to computer. When we're away, a remote so you can skip photos and a really straight-forward user interface that makes it easy to do whatever you need. I was really surprised as it was half the price of the Sony. I viewed the same pictures on the Sony and they were quite grainy.I viewed the pictures first at less than arms length, then thought I should try it a bit further away - still crystal clear. Highly recommended .

It was a gift for wedding aniversarry for my wife , but she didnt liked it (i find out that she doesnt like digital frame idea in general), who cares i liked it :D After reading reviews i was bit concerned that it will be crap but i was surprised. Opened box , connected all wires and voalea it works . Inserted Usb and got message not suported format. Took remote control clicked on photos and it started to show me images on usb. What is even better you can watch videos on it and listen to music , so its somewhere beetween photoframe and tablet P.S company logo on a frame could be smaller or could doesnt exist at all

One things doe not tell in review is the formats which can put files on. If you have a SD card or a USB stick if will accept either. Once the media is inserted you can then also download from your computer via mini USB slot, brill. Lots of functions from the remote control, but a bit slow to react to it. Hopefully the remote is rarely used just mainly setup. The on/off timer is excellent, I used it for a small display in a school so it come on in morning goes off evening. The built quality is average, have seen more expensive worse quality. All in all for the money I reckon a good buy.

We bought this frame for my parents whom we had to move into assisted living...We've been scanning and compiling 65 years of photos into one digital frame to maximize space. They sat there for hours looking at the photos and reminiscing; photos they haven't seen in years. I labeled as many as I could with an approximate year to tell their story in order. In addition, I downsized my mom's cassettes (several cases) by adding a mix of music, some from their generation and some songs that have been sung by new artists. Downsizing the photos and the music enabled them to take other things that they had a hard time giving up. They love it!!! We've started them with a over 1000 photos and are continuing to add pictures as we scan them in. This product was offered to me at a discount price, in return for an honest opinion and impartial review of the product .My parents really love it. It is best gift for them.

Must have picked this (the 8 inch version) up at a 'sweet spot' since it was going for 35 quid - and at that price I can't complain too much. The first major headache with this was that it is *really* sensitive to JPEG formatting. Not image size, but something buried inside the format. I thought it might have been to do with progressive encoding, but the results when I tried playing with that setting were inconclusive. I do most of my image processing in Adobe Lightroom - and the JPEGs exported from that software wouldn't display on the frame (showed a blank screen and the image list insisted they had a file size of 0 - which they didn't). Opening the exported images with Gimp (the open source image processing tool) and saving again - without doing anything else - resulted in images which did display correctly, but is impractical for 10s or 100s of images. Eventually I found the 'sips' command line tool (on Apple's OS X) which again just 'converting' JPEG to JPEG ("sips -s format jpeg *") gave images which finally displayed ok. Only took a week+ to work it out... The other observation is that the images presently look a bit washed out. The blacks are nice and dark, but the highlights are too bright and the colours look washed out as a result. I'm hoping that if I play with the images before I export them, I'll get a setting that looks ok - but this shouldn't be necessary as those images are fine on other screens as well as when they're printed. Apart from that the frame seems fine. It is a little plasticky, the buttons on the back are very cheap, and the menu is slow to respond....but it was a really cheap price and it displays ok once I worked out the glitches. If you can find it for thirty-odd quid then it's hard to argue at the price. If it starts to drift into forty or fifty something, then it's getting nearer to competition like Nix that - although I haven't played with one - get good reviews.

Wim very pleased with this. For the price it's great. I had bought a jessops digital frame following a review and it was rubbing, colour crap and tiny pic. This is more like a computer screen in both size and colour etc. Like a computer screen at an angle the image is lost, but hey it's pretty cheap. The videos are great and it's so good to know my family are finally going to get a regular glimpse of all those thousands of pics and videos that chart the first ten years of my child's life. Getting one for my best friend for Xmas now.

For the price, this is a great product. There are however a few issues. Firstly, I have no idea what size batteries to use in the remote. It has a slot for a single flat watch battery type cell, but nowhere in the manual or elsewhere can I see what specific model to use. Secondly, there is no random play mode. So if you want to mix the photos up, then you may have to work out other ways of doing it. Finally, the actual angle of view is relatively limited. If you see it straight on it looks fine, but from 45 degrees each way from the perpendicular it is almost impossible to view the screen. Nowhere near as good in this regard as modern TVs or laptop screens. Apart from that though, if you want a reasonable large digital photo frame, then its a great product.

I've always fancied one of these. Saves forking out on loads of photo frames that's for sure! It comes with the ability to play photos directly from an SD card or a USB stick. Very easy to setup. It also has an auto on and auto off feature which is very nice. Saves on electricity bill. The frame is a lightweight plastic. Surprisingly the picture quality is really nice and displays my 16MP DSLR photos really well on it. You can set the slideshow delay too. This looks great in my man cave

This digital photo frame, does much more than i had anticipated. Whilst showing photos it also pays music, that is on the memory card. Another good feature is the build in clock and calendar. This product exceeded my expectations, and I would heihly recommend this product to any would be buyers.

Shipping: Arrived on the same day without any hassle. Build Quality: The digital frame is well made and is covered by the substantial cover. Top class. A really well made and robust product that is a significant improvement on competitors. very nice digital photo and music video. supports a lot of music and photo formats. It can show the photos on my phone and my mini USB. Recommendation: The Digital frame will definitely satisfy any needs when you want to show your pictures around.

Overall, I think it's very good value. As for size, the actual screen is very close to A4, so use a piece of paper to determine if this will be visible enough from wherever you wish to place it. A couple of minor negatives: it can't be hung with portrait orientation (although the stand works both ways) and the slideshow only allows for 5s, 10s and 15s intervals.
