Does this drum have a deep sound, without the 'tinny' or ping after the note is played? and how do the balls within the drum sound?

  • It has a slight tinny sound I would say. I'm not experienced with ocean drums this is my first but I love it!

How do you 'play' this drum?

A

  • Simply hold the edge with both hands and move the drum in sort of a circle. Feel the needs as they flow from side to side. You will hear the sound of waves. It's very cool! Play around with it until you find your rhythm. Hope that helps!

      It is small and light in size, but the sound of the tilt will disappear in a few seconds. I suppose it could be bigger, but I can't complain about the price.

      I love the drum. I feel it could use more of the beads inside, it has to be moved bery very slowly due to that, in order to get the right effect

      I like that the sound is not so overwhelming. Other ocean drums are so loud and obnoxious. This one is calming and unobtrusive.
