    Did not work with my small diameter ice fishing poles, but they would be great for a standard size rod. They are very loud alarms. Good that there is a volume control.

    I use these on my catfishing rods, and they’re awesome! I love these (compared to another brand I bought) because these have a knob you turn them on/off with, and it “clicks” so you KNOW they’re off when you turn them off to store them, which saves the batteries from running down due to accidental powering on when they get bumped by other stuff in your tackle box/bag. The same knob adjusts the volume, ranging from “no sound” - to “wake the neighbors” loud. Theses alarms also have a bright red indicator light that comes on when the alarm is triggered, which is especially helpful if you have the volume turned all the way down. If you’re looking for some great little bite indicator alarms, I highly recommend these!

    Product is perfect for those looking for a loud alarm. Comes with batteries. It is perfect for those looking for a loud enough alarm to put on a fishing rod and not have your eyes on the rod at all times. Definitely works

    A handy device. Several suggestions for use. 1. This particular alarm is better on a rod with a level wind reel. (bait caster) 2. Keep the rod relatively parralel to the water surface otherwise the rod absorbs much of the energy of a strike before it is translated through the alarms mechanism..

    I will say this. I took my dad on a camping trip and he seen the way I fish with them on my poles. He was impressed and wanted some for him. I would set my poles, put the bite alarm on and go back to camp and wait for the alarm... they are fantastic.
