The aluminium one broke on us while trying to bag a fish. The stainless steel handle one is pretty cool. Way more sturdier. Couple inches smaller, but not enough to be a deal breaker. Very happy wth the seller and the stainless steel version.

I have an elusive kitty who needs flea treatments sometimes. Well, she used to be feral so it's impossible to just pick her up, I have to wait and trick her or sneak up on her, sometimes it takes weeks. This net was perfect for my issue. now I just scoop her up with it! Sometimes she see's me coming and I have to chase her around but still when i see her path I put the net in front of her at the last second and she runs right in it (lol). The netting is strong enough to hold her and the metal is really sturdy. I saw some reviews from people saying the pole broke. Those reviews were all from people who ordered the aluminum version. I got the stainless version and it's really strong. If this holds my pissed off cat, then it will hold anything else you want to catch with it as well.

I bought this met to catch turtles in my fish pond. There were too many turtles, and they compete aggressively for the food I throw out for the fish. Turtles have sharp claws, and the bigger turtles are heavy, so I was concerned that this lightweight net might not be strong enough to handle turtles. So far I have netted 39 of various sizes and relocated them to nearby wetlands. A couple have bitten the net, and all use their claws to try to climb out of the net, but I haven’t found any tears in the net. Several times the net has caught on brambles near the pond bank, and I’ve had to snatch it loose from the brambles, but still it hasn’t torn. I am pleased with my purchase of this net.

I love hiking/trekking. As a pro-environment I was concern of the trash that ends in our waterstreams. A week ago, I noticed that in one of many rivers/creeks that form the Anacostia Waterstreams was full of debris from construction (wooden palette) and many plastic bottles, balls, dog toys, etc. I had no idea of what to do, until I remember that fisher people uses net to grab their fishes.Whatever the use you are going to give this net, it is going to leave you satisfy. At least I am and will be my partner in my next hiking close to creeks or rivers.

This folds up relatively small and extends out to a good length. I would warn that while it folds down to a convenient size, it's still a bit too large to fit into my tacklebox, which I think is a pretty "normal" size. I guess a hardcore fisherman might have a hardcore box that's larger than mine, but for the typical once-a-year fisherman like me, it will have to be carried outside the box.

My dad is tarting fishing so he does not have alot of Fishing gear. After taking him out a few times, we realized we needed a fishing net. Not something extravagant but something my Dad who is 80 can handle. I did some research and bought the RESTCLOUD and surprised my dad on the last fishing trip. He was happy. Easy to unfold and sturdy enough to bring in the fish and loved that is could extend and fold back in.

Net is great and functional in every way. We use ours non traditionally to rescue baby birds that wander into dangerous places as they fledge. Long reach makes alot of difference.

Haven't had the chance to use it yet, but it looks like it should be a good net. I purchased as a gift for my husband and he hasn't been fishing yet, but when we do, we will be able to tell how well it stands up to an actual fish in the net! But it folds up so nicely and fits in the tackle box I purchased, having a folding net is so much nicer than taking a big one with you. When we get a chance to use it, I will revisit and post an update!

it is very light weight, seems sturdy enough, folds nicely, and would be okay for fishing (to help scoop up fish caught on a reel).

At first I was a little confused when I was setting it up but realized it was quite easy. It’s strong and durable and I can’t wait to take it fishing in a couple weeks with my family. And props to the seller she was able to answer all my questions.

My advice on this net is to have it open in the lock pisition before ever hooking a fish. I use a kayak and an open net is cumberson. I do have straps on kayak to where i can put an open net. If you catch a fish and then try to open you are gonna be in for a struggle as opening is a two hand operation. Unless you have someone who can help. The feature i do like is it is folding. The handle screws together to keep from telescoping. And this is a nice net.

who is an avid golf player. I got the idea to get her a collapsible net after I heard her talking about how one of her golf partners lost a ball in the water, as they were not able to reach it with whatever implement they had. I wanted it to be thin and compact so that it would not take up much room in her golf bag nor be cumbersome. I also looked for the max extension… this net fit all these requirements.

I have used both the aluminum and stainless steel nets and agree with most people in saying the aluminum net is a bit flimsy when going for fish heavier than 3lbs when fully extended. On the other hand, i have not had any issues with the stainless steel net. I have netted some descent size bass and trophy trouts and its been working great. I also love the fact that its collapsable as i hike to several of my fishing spots.

The net was perfect for what we wanted. We often cruise the Tampa Bay waters on a pontoon boat and too often see plastic waste floating in the water. The Restcloud net was perfect for fishing the plastic out of the water - folds up nicely for storage, good extending handle length, decent net depth for our use, and sturdy.. I realize the net was designed for landing fish, but can't speak to that.
