We took this on a beach trip and despite the fact that I read other reviews saying I should practice folding it, I didn't. The first day, we managed to follow the directions on the tent and got it somewhat folded down - enough to fit it in the bag it came in but it wouldn't zip. The second day I had watched multiple youtube videos for similar style tents and it still took two of us to get it right. I think everyone on the beach was laughing at us by the time we got it folded down! Besides all of that, it was the perfect spot for my daughter to nap and get shade and air flow.

I'm a big fan of this tent. I initially ordered it because I thought the sandbags on the side idea was genius (I haven't been to the beach yet to vouch for it, but I've used this several times at our pool already). It pops up without any effort, and is nice and roomy. It's SO light. My primary complaint thus far, is the top doesn't come far enough out and when the sun isn't directly above there's not a ton of shade to be found, unless you turn the tent along with the track of the sun. Not a huge deal, but with the size of it, it would be nice to be able to actually use the full size for shade. In any case, for the price it's about what I expected and I will be getting plenty of use out of it!

if you don't fold it up exactly the right way. The bag does seem cheaply made and may not last very long but I'm sure any similar sized bag that closes will keep it in. It can be a little frustrating if your going solo since the wind does knock it over easily but I love the sand bags attached to the bottom and that helps with set up a lot if you get those filled first. Waterproof mat is a big bonus, super easy to clean and shake off sand. This tent is great in the wind once you fill the sand bags and set the stakes. It provides great coverage in the sun and shaded a bigger area than I thought it would. Overall very happy with purchase, it is cheap and folds up small so its much more convenient to carry compared to other shade options.

The tent pops right up and no issue with set up. There are additional ropes to help make the tent more stable on windy days, which we needed to use so it didn’t look like the tent was folding in on my son. The biggest issue was folding it back up. I followed the directions on the tag and out of the 7 or 8 times it needed to be folded back up, I was only able to get it correctly in the bag once. We have items similar to this that need to be folded back up in a circular fashion but this one just gave us a hell of a time. It’s currently in our garage about 80% of the way in the bag. But it did what I needed it to do which is fine by me really.

Definitely practice, practice and then practice some more closing this thing up or you will end up frustrated at the end of your beach trip. My kids have lots of pop up play tents and I have those figured out but this is a little different since it is so much bigger. It can be a tight fit in the bag if you don't fold it up exactly the right way. This is my first time using it. Took like 1 minute to set up. It's suuuuper light, so would def have to use tie downs and the rock pockets if it was even a little windy. My daughter and I use it at the park. It’s perfect for our needs. I haven’t folded it up yet, but I’m not good at stuff like that, so best not to trust me with that part of it. Not sure why my photo is coming up sideways.

We love using these types of shade tents for our visits to beaches each summer. This tent is lightweight and easy to pack. It pops up really easily and provides just enough shade. We like to store our cooler, towels, etc. inside the tent. Folding up is not as easy - but gets easier with practice.

My husband needs to avoid the sun, so we take this along in our car whenever we might be having a picnic or hanging out outdoors. We know we’ll always have a shady spot available! Very lightweight and easy to carry. Folding it back up takes two people and can be a bit tricky, but there are instructions printed on the tag on the bag.

I had one that was similar but it folded like an umbrella. And it also sprung backward when the wind kicked up, it was a nightmare and it was destroyed. This one is super lightweight easy to manage and no umbrella spines! ( although folding it back down small is a challenge) it has a bottom! So you can place a blanket and a cooler and all your belongings in it. We love it! I bought my daughter one and we love to have these at the lake or even in the yard for the kids to picnic in.

This is the perfect size sun shade for our family of 4. It gave our son a feeling of camping when we first pop up open inside our living room. The fold instructions is easy to follow, first try and got it to fold back into original circle shape. Super duper light weight and give us great sun protections. So far we taken it to the park but not yet the beach. This take up much lesser space compared to the traditional square pop up canopy.

What I love most about this portable tent is how easy it is to set-up. It's a pop-up design so once you get it out of the bag, it's ready to use. It fits four of us comfortably and protects us from the harmful rays of the sun. If we're not using it outdoors, the kids use it as a fort to play with especially now that we are socially distancing due to COVID.

The tent is very lightweight like expected. Folding was a little difficult. I've used plenty of these type of fold up products and this one was a bit more difficult than the norm., but we eventually got it. Screen panels are awesome for a breeze. My biggest issue is there is no obvious way to add weights to hold it down. A lot of similar products have pockets you can fill with sand or smaller rocks to keep it from flying away. We ended up using our beach equipment to do that. Not a bad product overall, just missing a couple of features.

This tent is fantastic. It is easy to set up and pack it back. It looks great. What it impressed me most is its excellent performance in it air circulation, which makes you feel extremely comfortable when laying down inside the tent with sea breeze flowing your whole body. All in all, it is the ideal beach you would not like to miss it.

I have to first say that this is way bigger than I ever expected! It was so easy and quick! I have had to carry open tents back to my car in the past because I couldn’t get them folded back, but I won’t have to with this one! I haven’t gone to the beach yet ( I will be going in 4 days) so I can’t say yet how it does with wind and such. But will update after our trip to the beach!
