    This portable fishing pole is pretty amazing. This is the first time I used a telescoping pole and it's flexible and sturdy. It stayed extended firmly and kept good contact with the fish I caught. It handled the fish pictured @ 2 pound Bass with no problem. The spinning reel is responsive with a good drag system. Kinda cool the pole and reel came with a small tackle box with some tackle and fishing line. The fishing line provided is sturdy but stiff on the reel and wants to recoil on the cast and birdnest so I will replace it with a more familiar fishing line. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend this LineRike setup for those who want to learn to fish a spinning setup and those who are experienced.

    Perfect for my husband. This helped combo helped teach my husband.how to cast a spinning reel. Quality product with all the'gear' will need, in a nice, small, compact kit. Took it to the lake the day after we got it and my husband used it all morning. Love this product and for the price.

    This thing is great. I love that it's so small. I drive a convertible and a truck, but with the convertible, it's easy to always have this in the trunk for a surprise fishing night (which happens surprisingly often). I don't think it'll easily come apart at the joints, but time will tell. The reel is also of great quality.

    I just started fishing, so I got this as an entry level rod for beginners. Set up was easy, you basically just screw the rod today in less than a minute. I like it that it include almost everything you would need to get started. I took this out to the nearby rivers and lakes a couple of time and had good success in catching some blue gills and basses. Great value for the price point!

    I really needed an anti- salted fishing rod because try it in seawater.This rod has made it so good.It hardly takes up any space. It is very sturdy and well made. All the pieces that loosen/tighten are made of metal so you don't have to worry about them wearing out or cracking under pressure.

    With the lack of good reviews and solid feedback on these rods it was really hard to make a choice on one of these but I bought this one and I’m really glad I did. This rod and real combo are amazing. It’s convenient and functional to say the least. The reel is very smooth and the rod is solid. I’ve already ordered a second one. If you are hesitating on purchasing one don’t. Buy this one you won’t regret it.

    It’s good quality so far, but I’m still skeptical. Seems too good to be true. But I’ve caught fish, and it didn’t break yet after 20 casts. For the money, I’m really not too worried.
