I have a couple of Rods & Reels but I wanted a slightly shorter & lighter rod/reel combo for just throwing in my local Lake. That's why I bought the 7.6 Telescopic and rigged it for topwater lures on camo braid. Firstly, I'm very happy with the Feel of the rod in my hand. It's perfectly balanced and stiff but responsive for quick bass hits. It's a 2 piece rod so it's extremely compact and carries well in my car. The eyelets are True and the seat is plastic but strong and secure. The reel is quiet and smooth as well just like my other 3000 reel. This is just a Great combination that I can quickly pull out and set up for a throw at the lake or take on my trip when I go to the other coast of FL. Nicely done again Plusinno! I Love your products. Keep up the quality and I'll keep buying :) :)

We travel to all inclusive resorts in the Caribbean and Mexico several times a year. Plus wintering in Florida I needed a dependable compact rod and reel kit. The rod and reel could be purchase separately but I needed a well produce travel package. Something durable yet light weight. The full zippered foam padded bag with a small assorted tackle box was perfect. The foam is cut out so the rod, reel and tackle box fit securely. There is still room for a pair of small needle nose pliers and some other basic tackle. I use the tubes from TP for top water plugs and shallow diving plug all for saltwater. The rod is fast enough for long casts and enough backbone to get the job done. Of course it's all about the reel and it's drag. Both smooth and silk in both directions. I used a poly smooth braided 12 lb test and could cast almost 1/2 the spoon. But still plenty left for the fight.

So far this pole and reel combo has not disappointed! For stelth and compacting while on a hike it fits nicely, even for being the longest rod they have at this point it's really nice. The thing that has almost always put me off for the telescoping rods is, you have to fiddle with each eye to keep them in line with the reel, and, for whatever reason one or more parts on the shaft collapses. Be it over time, or on the first outing it's maddening to have the rod start to collapse when the fish of a lifetime finds your hook. I'll be putting up a future review after a solid 3 weeks to a month of fishing to see how she really handles with myself and son. At first glance though, I like the space for the hook when put away and just how sturdy this pole feels in my hands. But as I was thinking, this company has the chance to figure out how to make a telescoping fishing rod that when totally extended, to be able to lock and unlock piece of the rod in-line with the reel. Then to easily unlock it, collapse it and go about your way. These are our initial thoughts for the longest, I've seen, telescoping fishing rod and reel combo.

I ordered this kit as a gift for my son and got one for myself as well. We keep them in the car so we are ready to fish at a moments notice. The Rod is nicely constructed and the reel is very well designed. The extra spool is great for changing to a different line at a moments notice depending on the type of fishing we are going to do. The value of the kit is exceptional considering the quality is far superior than I expected. It was delivered on the expected date and the seller answered all my questions within 8 hours. I'm considering adding another for some drift fishing.

I have the last model of the telescopic pole and love the improvements they have made on this one. This pole is lightweight and has much more quality components. Colors are great and metals feel high quality. Would recommend to anyone looking for a pole to throw in your backpack, or trunk. Also great for traveling or exploring new fishing spots. Great buy.

Looking for a travel rod to keep in a backpack in your truck or car? This is it. This collapsible travel rod is convenient and well made. From it's premium eyelets to it's light weight and easy to setup functionality, it can't be beat. This rod is great to break out when you're out and about and see a lake, pond or river that's looking to be fished. The rod quality is excellent and is very east to set up and break down. The color scheme is more than desirable with gold accents up and down the rod. The carbon fiber look as well added a nice touch to the overall rod. I ended up pairing the rod with a smaller 2500 size reel just for even more portability. If you're looking for a travel rod to keep in your car or something quick and easy to deploy on your kayak or small boat this is a premium option, great price too!

My wife bought me one for my birthday after I complained I could not find a telescoping pole at a local store. The quality seemed quite good and I used it a few times, then I just bought another for my wife or kids to use when we have limited space (when we are not in the truck for example). It's nice to have a telescoping pole you can grab and take, even on a motorcycle. I also like the holes in the handle, which work well to secure a hook when carrying around between locations (such as from the dock to the dam or whatever). When I'm done I unhook most of the other gear but leave a swivel on the end of the line and hook that the same way for transport and storage.

I travel everyday for work and needed something that was easy to store in my work vehicle for fishing on lunch or stopping off on the way home. I didnt want to invest a fortune or have to assemble multiple pieces that could get broken in my car. For over a year now this rod and Reel have been used a minimum of once a week sometimes daily. I have ran 5lb trout line up to 20lb braid with no issues, the rod stores nicely and has held up to a lot of bends and abuse, the reel is still just as smooth as the day I bought it and the drag system is really easy to dial into the perfect tension. Only issue I had was a broken eyelet from when I jammed the sections together a little too firmly, 2 drops of super glue and its been great ever since. Great grab and go set up especially for the price

Oh man, what can I say about the fishing rod combos? Great value。This set is really what you need for beginners. I bought this for my day who always has the passion for fishing but never know how to fish. This set comes with lures, line, rod, and reel. That's literally what you need. Moreover, it comes with the bag which is really great and compatible. I don't have any problem putting in my car and forget about it.

The reel is perfect for me and is just what I wanted, it holds the perfect amount of line, the drag is great and the reel is very light weight. I have yet to catch a trout on it but I will soon! The reel seems very sturdy and I even dropped it on some rocks along the river, I think it will hold up great for what I'm doing with it.

This is a great looking combo. I like the feel and fit and finish of this combo. The collapsible rod is super convenient. I am able to toss it in a backpack or the back of my car and not have to fight with long pieces. It comes with a pouch to store the rod in and offers some protection. The reel is smooth and has a good feel to it. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

I purchased this combo for a friend who rides a motorcycle on long trips. He usually straps a rod on his bike to fish at different places on his trips. This fit perfectly in his saddle bags. Its very light weight and super strong. I would compare it to one of my medium bass rods. I was skeptical at first because I myself do not even like the action of a 2 pc rod. When I got this I had to check it out before giving it to my friend and I can definitely say it is awesome. The rod has a sensitive tip and good back bone to it. The reel is super smooth and will for sure handle a good size fish. Very well constructed and a snappy bail with a quick release button for the handle. For the price this is a great deal . Im buying another for myself to keep in my truck box and I would highly recommend this combo.
