This thing is great. Havent taken it out camping just yet but it hold a pan well and really anything you might be bring on a little hike or camping trip should support this. One of the attachments is made to slide on top so even small objects can be places on top. I have not encountered any of the one star review issue where the pins fall out but if I did then I think I'd just take some pliers to the hinges, it looks like they've solved that issue now with this one because it looks soldered on there. so far it's great! The pics are of me testing in the yard with a lump of coal.

This little emergency stove is pretty awesome. It weighs just a few ounces, folds flat and fits in its own 4.5“ x 4.5“ pouch. I mean, how great is that? The only couple of reasons I didn’t give it 5 stars in all categories are these: it doesn’t come with any instructions, though assembling it is fairly intuitive. More importantly, it doesn’t come with a warning concerning the very sharp edges. Caution: BE CAREFUL! It comes coated in this blue cellophane protective covering. It also comes with a small piece of sandpaper to help remove the covering. Most of it just peels off but the hinges are very tricky to remove the covering from so the sandpaper comes in handy for those tight spaces. I bought two of these stoves and cut my hands up pretty good removing the protective film from the first one…You just need to be very careful when removing the stubborn protective film and handling the flat pieces of metal and the associated very sharp edges. Oh yeah, and maybe wear a thin pair of gloves while doing so! Other than that, this little gadget is awesome and it really works. So I highly recommend it.
