I bought this and the Zebra pot-sticker pot set listed in previous comments. The Lixada stove packs away and fits right inside part of the Zebra pot. They work well together as a complimentary hobo stove cook set. The stove starts fires easily, has a nice draft, and stable pot holder. This is lightweight, but it is not a super lightweight system like the pricey fuel systems. Together, the two separate purchases are a good, little, durable, lightweight package for the money.

This stove definitely has a niche of its own. You need to understand a little bit about fire science to be able to use it properly. I have used it on a three day backpacking trip, and it functioned well. It met my expectations as far as I'm concerned. It packs down well and actually fit inside my pot with my alcohol stove (as a backup) it keeps a constant airflow and burns small sticks well. It is very efficient on fuel compared to a normal fire and is much easier to cook on. If used properly it can produce a nice flame that can light up a decent area. It burns wood rather quickly and produces a nice bed of coals. It is rather inexpensive but is made well and it is versatile and uses free fuel. This is great for cooking meals and conserving fuel. Because it uses small sticks fuel can be found anywhere with bushes or trees nearby. I hope this helps anyone looking to buy one of these they are a great addition to your gear rack.

Good quality and solid built for the price. This particular model won't fit inside the MSR Alpine 775mm pot but will nicely do in the Zebra Billy Can 14cm. The height difference with other models is the added piece that allows feeding the stove without having to lift the pot so you'll have to decide between size or convenience when buying. The only con I have are the rivets of the top pot support but I'm sure they're easily replaceable when they break...eventually.
