Used it 3 times already on different lakes and it works great. Definitely buy a 12v pump for it unless you want one heck of a workout. My only complaints (minor) are that the seats aren't very comfy (no back support unless you don't use them at all) and they deflate depending on the weather, the paddles are a bit short (I use them like canoe paddles), and the floor portion isn't a Boston valve (it would be so easy to inflate). Next to those minor inconveniences, the boat handles great. Be advised that if you're using it on a hot and sunny day, the vinyl will get very hot, like to the point where you can burn yourself! I also purchased an anchor with it which is necessary if you plan to use it for fishing in one spot as any type of current or wind will have you moving. It's pretty light and easy to move with 2 people.

I bought this kayak for when I travel solo. I'm a 65+ year old women, 5'2" & needed something I could handle alone. I love this thing! It's easy to inflate & great for smooth water paddling. The hardest part for me is folding it back up to fit the carrying case but it gets easier each time I pack up. I haven't taken it out in the ocean or fast moving rivers but it's great for exploring. I bought the same model for my grandson's 7th birthday & he was thrilled. I looked at children's kayaks but decided he should have one that will last him years. I've dragged mine over sand, forest floors & small rocks with no problems. I recommend this kayak for recreational kayaking. You won't be disappointed.

Very happy with this boat! Took it to the lake this past weekend with my boyfriend and dog (Jack Russell). It held up great! All three of us fit inside, as well as a small travel back. We were packed in nice and cozy for sure, but it was still pretty comfortable. I was amazed how much of a beating this boat could withstand. Especially for being an inflatable. We dragged it through the rocky ground and it withstood my dogs paw nails no problem. We even accidentally poked it with a fish hook and had it fall off the roof of our car when driving because we neglected to secure it properly. Even after all that... no holes, loss of air, or any other signs of damage. I'm super impressed and highly recommend this boat!

Its really a two man boat but myself and my dad took it out on the bay in about a 5mph breeze with no real issues. We are both big guys about 215 and 230 and we stayed afloat hahaha. The hardest part it anchoring it when there are some waves. This boat is not sturdy enough to put seats in it but if u sit on the floor its fine for an hour or so.

Live in florida, brought it on a 6 mile kayak trip. It was absolutely great. Got tons of compliments... Plus... We went kayaking in a camaro.. Fit it right in the trunk. Very Comfortable and heavy duty. I am heavy set and i had a cooler loaded with drinks and it was still perfect. We have recommended all of friends to get one.

I just got this boat in the mail and went ahead to inflate it right away to find out if I'll need to register it or not. If you're in California you gotta register if it's over 8' and I'm happy to report it is about 7' 7" meaning that I can take it straight to the lake without waiting at the DMV. I'll be testing the waters this weekend and update my review if there's any problems. Otherwise, it looks like pretty sturdy material and isn't leaking from what I can tell. I'm 5' 8" and can sit comfortably on one end of it, leaving plenty of space for another person my size if we sit cross legged.

This kayak is currently with me on a weekend break to Scotland. The first morning I set my alarm for 6.30am, on a Saturday! What could persuade me to get out of bed before 10 on a weekend? This kayak, waiting for me in the boot of the car. I carried it easily down to the water's edge of Loch Etive, the tough bag it comes in large enough to fit in a few extra bits and pieces as well as the kayak, pump and paddle. Because it's not a tight fit in the bag, unpacking on the rocks by the water was simple. Fearing the handpump would take most of the morning, I got to work. The kayak was fully inflated in a flash, ready to go with very little actual effort. The paddle clipped together easily, with an adjustable angle on one paddle end for people who know much more about kayaking than I do. Hoisting the kayak under one arm to take it to the water's edge, it was a manageable yet comforting weight. It handled being wriggled awkwardly into admirably; being fairly wide, it feels lovely and stable. The only thing left was to paddle out and enjoy the gorgeous Scottish summer day.

So I was excited to get this. I took it out about 5 times to some local lakes for fishing. I also built the custom plywood flooring that is found on YouTube and other internet searches. There is no doubt the quality of material and price point make this a great item. However, with fishing it is just too much labor to get out there. I never felt comfortable rowing even with the flooring. Dragging all the gear just makes it too much set up time to get this boat on the water. I went out the first time and quickly learned that I needed an anchor or you will drift all over the place even in calm water making it hard to fish. I never could find a comfortable chair. You can only row it by sitting low. So when I rowed to a spot I then would have to break out my chair and then repeat the process. It was just way too cumbersome. If you want this to just goof around in the local lake then go for it. But if you want to spend long hours fishing then I found this too time consuming to assembly/set up and get out there. Then you have to disassemble and load into car. It just was never comfortable for me. So...if you want to get out there for fishing I recommend buying a float tube instead. You will certainly be more comfortable and can access the same areas of water. Yes, you will waders and flippers. But you can assemble the float tube so much faster, be more active on the water and get out there plus be more comfortable.

This boat is AMAZING! It is completely stable and gave me no worries of flipping over. I was able to unpack it, inflate it, get in it and go in no time at all. The material is super tough and feels very solid. Once inside the cockpit you feel nice and snug, and the skeg gives you great control over the craft. I plan on spending as much time on the water as possible with my new favorite toy! Great product!!

We love these kayaks and recommend them to anyone looking for the fun and flexibility of a kayak without the typical hassles of transportation and storage. If you're looking for a fast ride down a waterway, this isn't it. They move well but you won't be able to race a hard shell kayak.

urprisingly big and very tough. I got this for floating in the lake by our house. It fit me, my husband, my teen-aged stepson, our life-preservers, a soft-sided cooler and four oars with room to spare. We accidentally dragged it over some sharp stones when we first launched it, and it didn't puncture or tear. I'll bet we get several years of life out of it if we treat it well. Because of it's size, it can be a little "soft" in the water and and a little difficult to steer and control.

This kayak is fun and easy! Got it on Prime day for about $40, so there wasn’t much risk! I’m new to kayaking, but have been out a few times in the past, and love the water and outdoors. I live near a bay and lots of little lakes, so this is perfect for summer time exercise and adventure.
