I like this cycling computer. The display screen is easy to read, it's wireless (previous ones I had weren't), and this is the first time I've seen a mini solar panel on one; that definitely saves battery power. What really sold me is the option to keep the display screen back light on for night rides (by pressing both buttons at the same time). Read from a previous reviewer that keeping the display screen lit wasn't possible, but it is. Also like that the back light is LED; that also saves battery power (screen illumination good). Another thing: it doesn't take up handlebar space like my smartphone (with a speedometer app) did. Broke two phones due to an inferior bike phone mount; that's why I went back to a cycling computer. Good product, reasonably priced; probably will purchase a second one for my other bike when I get it repaired.

After watching a couple of videos on YouTube the computer was very easy to install. There are 2 batteries, one in the speedometer/odometer and the other in the sensor that attaches to the bike frame at the wheel. Open each compartment and remove the small circular paper or there will be no battery connection to either device. Take time, don't tighten the zip ties until you know for sure the bike computer is working. Total time for installation under 5 minutes and I was up and running. Can't beat the price, works great!

I only took 1 star off of the installation due to the fact that the instruction booklet is so darn small that I had to take a photo of the page with my phone so I could blow it up big enough to read them. Another important thing is to keep in mind is that you should check that the magnet on the wheel is tight after your first ride and then every now and then after. I do see a small difference in total mileage between this speedometer and the underarmor fitness app on my phone, But it's small enough that it doesn't bother me.

I followed the video instructions and the enclosed paper instructions and within 10 minutes it was mounted and fully functional. I need to adjust the wheel circumference value because it is yielding data rates slightly higher than my GPS tracking through my FIT-BIT app. I physically measured the circumference wheel traversal distance by rolling the bike until the tire valve completed one full revolution on the floor. The display can be fixed or set to scroll through them all while you are riding. The screen was clear and highly visible. The wireless spoke transmitter seems to work like a charm with no data drop-outs or false data being shown at any time during my inaugural 55 minute bike ride. I am fully satisfied and quite impressed by this and it was very reasonably priced. Thanks for a wonderful product.

I just got this but so far so good. The included instructions contain virtually no guidance on how to install this; however there are videos both here and elsewhere that will give you a tutorial. Once you figure it out it’s not terribly difficult but it would be nice if the instructions laid it out. It took me a while to get the magnet to align but once it did it worked fine. Setting the clock, the wheel diameter, my specifics, etc. took some time, although the instructions did include a chart for the circumference of your tire. It also came with foam pads so as not to scratch your bikes frame, and plenty of ties, so in case you mess up you have spares. This device is ambitious with respect to the information it provide. I’ll update this as to accuracy but again from my tests it seems like it will be reasonably in the ballpark. Certainly for the price you can’t go wrong

My only issue is that some of the directions did not translate correctly into English. The company should rectify that because grammar and spelling do count. If not correct, then the perceived quality is affected. No hard to install if you watch the video and realize that there are paper insulators in both battery compartments. If you have overlooked this, then clearly you do not know that paper is NOT a conductor. I like the concept of zip ties because replacement is easy. Measure the circumference the wheel with a single circle roll to determine inches. Multiply X inches times 25.24. By the way, 2.54 cm = one inch, so if you move the decimal point one place the unit is mm. Get it? Enter the product to ensure accuracy instead of using a chart. Even better, have a helper and put your weight on the seat. In any case, the set up is easy and make certain that there is sufficient space between the stationary sensor and the moving metallic piece. Works for me . . . we'll see about longevity.

If you can get past the poorly written & translated instructions, this little device is actually pretty easy to set- up and install. The batteries are included which is a nice touch. The unit feels secure on the bike with the supplied zip ties and I like how it also comes with rubber backings for both the sensor and the speedometer itself. The multitude of functions are really nice - including the ambient temperature. I'm really going to enjoy having this accessory on my bike!

Like other reviews, I can attest that the instructions were clearly written by somebody not fluent in English. Nonetheless, I persevered. I bought 2. One for me and one for my wife. The first one took about 30-40 minutes to install and program, the second one about 15 minutes. Though I followed the instructions carefully, as best anyone can, and programmed the tire circumference, each of the computers gives different distance readouts. Since we are causal riders and really only interested in general numbers, hard accuracy is not our concern. But after the first ride, the base which attaches to the handle bar broke. So now, it is only attached by one zip tie instead of two.

As others have stated, the directions are terrible. Just persevere and you will have a great computer with more features than you will ever need. Never mentioned is that the installed batteries are separated by a paper to protect it. remove paper and replace batteries carefully. The video for installing is a help but omits this critical step. love how no wires are needed to connect sender with receiver.
