Can I use a foam wig head on this stand?

  • I foam wig head will fit on this wig stand. However the hole for the foam heads will begin to break down on the inside causing them not to fit head stands. When this happens I just wrap something around the handle to fill the broken down space

My mannequin has 3 ridges inside. Will this stand work for my mannequin?

  • Not sure about the ridges. I have used a styrofoam head before but my main mannequin is the canvas mannequin that I use. I hope this helps

Will this fit in a regular size checked suitcase?

  • I don't know the size of a checked in bag (I always do carry on) but the size of the carrying case measures 36" long by 5.5" wide. The diameter of the pole is only 3/4" but it's more at the base because of the tripod.   • Hi Stephannie, i don`t know what yolanda hair manniquin`s bottom look like, but you can check the top part of the Abody tripod, the diameter is about 2.2cm, you can see if the hole on the bottom of manniquin can match it, hope this can help.

      Not had for the price! I didn't give it a 5 star eating because the legs continue to collapse no matter how much you tighten them. However, I'm satisfied with the product. I couldn't style my wig on the canvas head without it.

      It tips over because it is lighter in weight than my mannequin heads but it woks. For the price paid you really can't complain. All of the pieces were there and other than the occasional tipping over I have no problem with it. I would recommend it.

      Worth the wait. Got this to go with styling head for daughter who is a cosmetology student in high school. It arrived about a week after Christmas but she was fine with that. She loves being able to adjust the mannequin head to whatever height she needs for hairstyling.

      Packaged arrived on time and in good condition. I really like the the tripod stand came with a carrying bag/case. Works well for me. I would love if and would have rated the tripod 5 stars if the product was sturdy. Still works though.
