This remote is just great. I run a Win10 HTPC in my living room. It runs Plex, Chrome, BlueStacks, and some other applications. It's a workhorse but primary use is to run Plex. This remote was a breeze to get working. Works with all the usual Plex buttons and the keyboard covers the usually unavailable remote shortcut keys that really make Plex Media Player/OpenPHT shine. The IR learning works well and I control my receiver and TV's power and volume. The gyro mouse bit is the feature you didn't know you needed on your Win10 HTPC. So many annoying things you used to have to get up and grab a mouse/keyboard are totally solved with just pushing the button and using the remote as a mouse. The right-click button... another button I didn't know I wanted so badly. It's a good feel in your hand. I haven't dropped it yet and I used to drop my many MCE remotes daily. Something about the ergonomics with those remotes. Buy one if you run a Win10 HTPC. Really.

My intended use for this remote is to control my mini Win10 PC/media center. It's as close to perfect as you could expect. The pointer is accurate, the buttons are useful, and the connection is strong. It programs TV and Soundbar functions easily. Some of the problems that I thought it would have - it doesn't. For example, I was concerned about how having the keyboard on the back of the remote would intermingle with the pointer and other functions on the front of the remote. As in, if I'm using the mouse to select a text box and then when it's time to start typing, am I going to have to turn of the mouse pointer, flip the remote over, type my text, then flip it back over and reactivate the pointer.... thus turning it into an annoying process? The answer is, no. You select the text box, flip the remote and type, then flip it back and the mouse reengages. It's quite seamless! There's also so many shortcut keys that you don't rely on the pointer as much as you'd think you would. It's great! Much, much better than those cheap-o joystick type mouse track-pad remotes.

I like almost everything about the remote BUT the most important thing is the problem therefore it is a big problem. The mouse is the most important thing for navigating any OS and this mouse falls short. To activate the mouse press the mouse button unfortunately pressing another button de-activates the mouse but that is not the biggest problem.
