Works perfectly right out of the box. Connected the usb and HDMI of console to transmitter and connected to 1G switch that runs throughout home. Connected mouse to reciever and HDMI cable from TV to reciever. Connected reciever to wall network jack and done. Switched TV input to HDMI and was able to see and control the console (in closet) from my living room. No delays, video is perfect. Mouse control is great.

I am very pleased with this purchase because it works as advertised. My application was 300 feet of cat 6 cabling dedicated for this job. As soon as the unit was hooked up and powered applied, the video over HDMI and the mouse control worked as advertised. The unit seems to run cool and the size of the unit is small around 3 inches square. There was no noticble latency in the video or mouse control.

Easy to hook up. Used plain cat 5 cable over a two hundred foot long run and they worked great. I also like the fact you can add more than one receiver and transmitter to your network and keep them separate. Does not need to be on isolated runs for each pair. Wireless keyboard and mouse work on the units as well.
