Would be helpful if there was a sticker on the outer box stating that the item is in lock mode and should be switched out of that mode prior to using. We originally thought our item was defective since it wasn't erasing. Upon reading the manual included, I noticed a line saying a lock mode, which wouldn't allow erasing, was a feature of this item. I quickly checked the item to see if it was in that mode and it was.

Our craft-loving 9-year-old is constantly drawing. We gave this to her for her 9th birthday, and she is constantly playing with it. This writing tablet is going to save us a lot on paper. It'll be perfect when school starts up and she needs to take temporary notes or work through math problems.
