This thing is easy to use and works surprisingly well, with one glaring exception which is I deducted two stars from my review. The exception? There's a *very* noticeable lag, and the product description doesn't warn you about it. Both the audio and video are maybe a quarter second behind "live". All that said, the product is super easy to use, didn't even have to find drivers, I just plugged it in and it worked. So, if you're not concerned about the delay and you're just using this to capture video that isn't lag-sensitive (IE, not a gaming console, etc) this is a great choice.

I was able to use this directly with my Nintendo switch without having to use an hdmi splitter or hook it to a tv. Just direct to my gaming laptop AND was able to Livestream. Best part was there wasn’t any lag and I could use the OBS preview as a screen! The pic shows how I got the audio and all to work.
