Compact card reader that works well. Aside from owning a MacBook Pro and having to mess around with the drivers to get it to connect- no fault of the PocketMate... One note about the reader, would be 5-stars, however, it can easily be bumped causing the reader to cut out, so ensure that you have a safe area to use it in.

This card reader has worked very well with my computers running Windows 7-10 and the recent Mac OSX. It has fewer parts than many of the other compact readers around which should make it more durable. I have had not issues, and would may buy another for my wife when her current reader needs to be replaced.

Works well. Very small and compact. The only thing that I don't like about this style card reader is that if you have two USB ports on your computer that are right next to each other, you will not be able to have anything else plugged in next to the reader (like a mouse) since the reader takes up a little space when plugged in.

Works great and I really needed it so I'm really happy with the portability of it. However, I tried everything to install this thing myself I finally took it to an IT person and he showed me how to install it...yeah, there was no way I was gonna figure that out myself. Such a headache.

Edited because it started working: The product itself has a very small form factor, lightweight, and looks to be able to withstand the rigors of travel. The CAC fits fairly snug with a little bit of wobble (If bumped hard enough it will push the contacts out of alignment and the card will fail to read). All of the reasons I opted to buy this, save for one major detail; its was a pain to set up. This wasn't plug and play like my IOGEAR reader. Please remember to follow all instructions on MilitaryCAC.com and update the Certs as required. Also remember to restart your computer after installs to allow changes to take effect.
