I am pleasantly surprised with this unit. I did not expect the unit to cut as well as it does. I can cut wood and acrylic. If you use black, cast (not extruded) acrylic, it is simple to cut 1/8" sheet. I used 100% power, 100mm/min, and 3 passes. The edges look good! Still trying out the laser engraving.

I bought the 20w setup, it took about 30 mins to put together while watching the video on youtube. Everything came packaged securely and was easy to unpack. I tried lightburn and lasergrbl and both are easy to operate. I was burning attached images same day. I really enjoy this machine and it is fairly priced.

A fast delivery from a German warehouse to Bulgaria. Properly packed. No missing or faulty components. Easily assembled and working as advertized. One of the best Chinese Laser engravers. Precise and easy to use. Once one gets proper settings for the material to be engraved/cut the results are astonishing. A starting table with reference values can be downloaded from the Atomstack web page. Attention to Windows 7 64-bit users: It is virtually impossible to force the OS to install the ch340 driver needed to communicate with the device (even forcing Windows into test mode does not do any good) because the up-to-date-driver is not digitally signed and the OS rejects it. The only solution for me was to find an archaic version of the driver from 2009(!) that was once part of the windows update packages. This archaic driver does the job and I've had no problems using the engraver so far. Linux users should not have driver issues because drivers for this chipset are included in most of the recent distributions and the engraver should be recognized as soon as it is plugged in. In short: A well built, steady working precise engraver which provides impressive results when used properly; as for drivers: pain in the ass for Win 7 64 bit users (still solvable by installing the signed driver from Microsoft update cab file from 2009). This engraver is worth the money, 100%!
