are they water proof?

  • As far as bulbs are concerned, yes. The rest of system (junction box) no. The box is wide open to receive water and and hold it.

Dose this unit perform the same functions as the bigger one?

  • I'm not sure what functions the bigger one has I'm not sure what function the bigger one has but this one has every function that she would find on a real car including turn signals break lights running lights hi beams and low beams

      This one is good and doesn't drain much battery. Led is not super bright and the light options are slim. Comes with the 12 led as indicated and they come as a pair each and not individual. There are brighter units out there if that is what you want.

      This kit is one of favorites! It's simple and quality made. Have it on 6 of my RC cars. Works great on scale trucks and drifters. The flashing modes are great for making police lights (the flash mode looks very authentic) or rescue kits (had to use the red and blues from 2 kits to have enough for the police kit) but that is just my preference.
