I bought this for my 6 year old grandson and he was not able to determine how to navigate it, I also tried and found it difficult. There were very little instructions with the drone, needless to say we were both disappointed.

Before I got this drone, I'd never flown a drone before in my life. I've actually never even seen one in person before. Sure, I'm very familiar with watching successful (and not always) videos on Youtube where people fly or at least try to fly their drones. When I thought about crashing a 1000$ drone it gave me bumps on my skin. Then I looked on TOMTOP and found out that good drones don't have to be expensive. I noticed Goolsky drone because it had great reviews (and I always base my shopping on reviews) and it was gesture controlled, a great feature for someone who had zero hours of actual flight time with drones. I have to admit, I didn't expect control to be that easy. This is my new favorite toy right now. Usually, I fly on my lawn near my house, but sometimes I fly indoors, just to annoy my dog. Unlike other remote control which I've seen, this one looks like my laptop HP mouse - sleek and smooth but yellow. The drone is very responsive, so at first, I tried not to make any sharp movements as I didn't want to crash my new toy. I really like 3D flips and now, after a few days of practice, I can totally control this drone. If I'm flying at home, I usually get 8 minutes of working time, outside - it's only 5 minutes. I think this is because of the wind. The drone tries to resist the wind and it cuts its battery life. I'm ok with that as charging time is only half an hours, the perfect time to make myself some snacks and iced tea. Overall, this mini drone exceeded my expectations. I thought I would crash it during the first day - but I didn't. It's extremely easy to control, fun to fly with it and the price is amazing - great deal. If you are a newbie in "drone community" this is a drone to start with. I can highly recommend it to everyone! I would definitely buy another one, as I think that "drone racing" is a great game for small parties.

Review of the Goolsky TB-802 2.4GHz Remote Control One-key Motion Controlling Drone RC Quadcopter with 360° Flips Function I bought the Goolsky drone for my husband. He’s been wanting one for a while so I thought this would be a good one to start with him. The drone came well packaged. It came all put together except for inserting the three AAA batteries (not included) into the remote. Plus you get some extra propellers in case of accident. It took about an hour to charge the drone. And the charge lasts about 10 minutes. It took a bit for him to learn the controls, but he’s doing quite well now. This is a sturdy little drone. It’s crashed several times with no damage. It can be used inside or outside. We did the video inside as it was raining. He loves it.

I want to mention that whenever I first used this quadcopter, I absolutely dreaded the controls as they did not click during the first use. I wanted to get rid of this as I thought it was to faulty and just didn’t work, however, after my third use I surprisingly got more used to this and was able to not crash in walls and crash instantly. After that horrific experience, the controls are pretty simple with leaning/motion controls that are needed to be utilize to use this properly. Then with turning on the quadcopter, doing a spin and so on are controls that eventually become easier over time and become like muscle memory. I was happy to have this successfully done. The build of this is simply just all plastic that’s light and flimsy but do its job in protecting the fans from any type of fast destruction. After learning this quadcopter, it’s actually an amazing of a deal compared to store quadcopters that charge around $50 for even a small quadcopter. This copter is a medium-sized one and it does everything that I got it for. Really happy with the results indeed. Overall, if you’re getting this, be sure to likely face disappointment in the beginning until you’re finally used to it. I am able to steer this around my house after a few charges of practice and now consider myself a professional. Practice does make perfect.

This is most certainly the fastest to learn entry level drone I have ever tried. The learning curve on this drone I would put is between 5 and 10 minutes and you will be flying it like a pro. What lends to the positive on how short the learning curve is simply how well designed the controller interaction is. This is by far one of the coolest controller interfaces as it is controlled with hand tilting and not joy sticks. The control has one small joy stick on the side were your thumb will go and a power button next to that. That is you don’t need anything else. So how do you fly it then with just one joystick and power button? You simply press the power button twice to sync the drone to the controller then when the lights on the drone don’t blink and stay on constant it only takes a press on the joystick once and the drone self takes off. At this point the worry is how do you fly it. This is simple as holding out your hand and imagining it’s the drone you tilt forward for it to fly forward tilt your hand back to go back side to go to the side ect. This interface makes it so simple to operate and if for any reason in the fly time you’d like it to land you can hit the joystick once for it to auto land or hit the power button for an emergency engine stop. By this interface being so simple it allows a person to understand how a drone fly’s and turns. You can understand how wind affects a drone hands on. I was very impressed. This is not a camera drone but it is a drone that teaches how drones work. A few things to note. It does come with 4 extra props (two left turning and two right turning) that equal one extra full set. The charging cord is usb. Lastly the finger grips are smaller so it may be uncomfortable to hold for a bigger hand person. I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone wanting to start out and learn how a drone works. If this review was at all helpful to you please let me know :)

This drone is the most fun I've had in a long time! It is simple to fly and easy to set up/charge, it is durable (I busted one of my blades but thankfully they include plenty of replacements), and it is something that will keep you entertained for hours. This is my first ever drone purchase and I can say I am very impressed with how intricate and interesting these little flying machines are! I am planning on buying another one for my younger brother who I know will just love it! Overall I am very pleased (the 360 degree flips are awesome too)!!

OMG, this drone is SO much fun. We got this because my hubs has been wanting a drone forever, but there was nothing in our price range. we figured this one would be a toy that might get off the ground enough for us to have some fun. Wow, it was amazing. All you need to work it is some patience, and 3 AAA batteries for the controller. The drone battery charged in about an hour (though it said it would take much longer) and lasted for about 10 minutes of flying time. That might not sound like much, but it's an adventure, for sure. We got some awesome footage of it flying around and doing loops outside. Here is some footage of us inside, determining that the drone is a bit too powerful to fly around safely inside.o

This is a great gimmick. This is a totally new generation compared to all these helicopters that where hip 2yrs ago. You really have to get used to the control which took me 3-4 battery charges but after it it was a lot of fun. And best of all: even if I crash it hard it never broke. And I crashed it a lot of time. Not like the helicopter I had 2yrs ago where the rotors broke really quick or got bend that made flying it difficult. The flips are also really awesome and are impressive. What I didn't like too much is the speed control. It's not as fine grained as with the helicopter I had. If I crash this drone a few times the battery could slip out. And sometimes this drone went nuts where I had the impression it was on full speed nevertheless what I did. The battery also doesn't last too long which I expected. A bigger battery would be just too heavy. Overall I am really happy with it and had a lot of fun. I assume I will play with it for another month and after it I retire it and will only use it like once a month. The typical life cycle of such a toy. But heck did I get a lot of joy out of it.

The Drone Quadcopter came in a very decent size retail box with nice packaging. Inside the package was The Drone, the controller, extra blade , and some accessories with a user manual. The drone itself has an easily manageable size which makes it ideal for the indoors as well as outdoors. I charged the batteries and as I read the manual I felt confident enough to give it a try. I have a large backyard, so I took it out for a spin right away. The controls were easy to learn and I though I had it all in my head. The motions and movements of the controller are very intuitive to remember and use correctly. Before I know I did a few crash landings from a short distance so no harm was done to the blades. I felt confident enough to give it a good go. I was surprised to see how easy of a time I had operating the controller. It was really fun flying this style drone and I am glad I picked the outdoors for my self learning experience here. I made a few hard crash landings and hitting trees and was surprise how everything was still in good shape! It takes a few little tries to get the hang of the motion detection controller so once you do you can easily and smoothly maintain good control. This is definitely a fun toy for both kids and grown ups. Even my neighbors seemed amused watching us flying this Drone in our backyard I just wish the Drone was maybe double the size. I like flying it at night with the blue and red light flying this is even more fun. The battery lasts a good charge as it is expected from toys with this light weight and size. I think we made a very good choice with this easy to operate drone and we look forward to have many days of fun with it this summer and beyond.

I do not have much experience with quad copters, but I found this one extremely fun. To be honest, there is a learning curve. It takes some time and trying to figure out how to fly it the way you want it to. I chose to work on learning how to fly this outside (so there weren't so many things that I could crash it into). I've got to tell you, the first time I finally landed it correctly was such a victory for me! I like that this is wireless and how you hold the "mouse-like" controller to control it!

I decided to let my nephew write this review in his own words, since it was a gift for him and it's practice for his writing! "I think that the Goolsky Techboy TB-802 is a great product. I enjoyed this product. It was very easy to do flips. I would recommend this product to anyone. I very much like this product. Controls easy and waterproof. The instructions were very easy to read. This product was very fun. You may need adult help with it. I am 10 years old and very much enjoyed. My younger sister very much enjoyed this product."

Loved this. It came fully charged and ready to go. The instruction manual was easy to understand. As far as flying, it's light and fairly maneuverable. You can control the altitude, speed, and do a 360 degree stunt flip. It has a great flight time for a product this size. It's also very durable, which is important for drones. It took me a few flights and crashes to get the hang of flying, and it stood up well. The protective edge around the rotors also protect the blades from bumping into walls when flying indoors. I also loved the intuitive and unique controller. It allows the drone's movement to mirror that of your hand. All in all, an exciting time waiting to happen!

I am really surprised how fun this little drone is to fly! It did take me some time to get use to the controls and how to muenover but after a few flights you will get it down. The battery life is actually pretty incredible. You will need 3 AAA batteries for remote but thats all you will need to get it up in the air. It comes with the USB charger for the drone battery. I wish the clear piece for your fingers to go into was bigger. I have large fat finger and its pretty tight getting them in there. But definitely a fun product I recommend for the price.

Having been burned previously by a drone that was supposedly easy to learn, the price (and effusive praise from cnet.com/cheapskate) still prompted me to give this a shot. There was still a bit of a learning curve (handy hint: positioning the drone with "head"/blue lights facing away from you matches up the motions of the craft with your hand motions), but I picked up the skill quite fast, and am delighted with how easy this drone is to fly. Definitely a good beginner's drone; only real criticism would be that the instructions are dreadful.Lots of fun at a really good price.

This is definitely a unique quadcopter with one key motion control instead of a traditional remote controller. It has altitude hold and flies exclusively in headless mode which makes learning to fly this unique drone a bit easier. There is definitely a learning curve with the various button inputs, but I had fun flying it and enjoy a challenge. I got used to which direction does what after a few flights. It was pretty windy the day of the review, so it seems to handle wind fairly well. This is an inexpensive quadcopter with a neat feature that isn't too gimmicky because it actually works. PROS: -7 and half minutes of flight time -Altitude hold works well and helps using gestures much easier -The quadcopter is responsive to hand movements with the controller -Built-in prop guards allows for safe indoor flying -Tight flips CONS: -Takes some getting used to the controls -Sometimes you might push the auto-land button while attempting one of the other button directions -Short operating range Check out my video review for more details.

This is the easiest drone to fly ever! The stone is primarily flown using your hand motion while wearing the controller on your hand. It has a thumb button for doing flips and adjusting the trim on the hover but that's pretty much it. I even had my 5 year old use it and he got a kick out of it. Very easy to learn within the first 10 minutes and fun. Use is indoor because of the weight of the drone for stability. It's light and take only 30 minutes to charge battery and allow cool down time. Flight time is roughly 7 to 10 minutes. It's a fun and easiest drone I've had or purchased so get on and have some fun with this. I will post a video soon if it in action.

This drone the easiest to fly. You don't use a regular stick controller just move your hand and it fly .make It is also fun that you can just throw it and it rights itself and flys. I've haven't used it outside yet due storm alerts (we live in Mississippi )but it stands up pretty good to the wind - highly recommend!
