It arrived very well packed in excellent condition. After a period of familiarity with a somewhat involved setup, I was able to operate what is essentially a flying camera. Range was reasonably good around 1500 ft. without any tinkering and photos and videos with the built in camera were quite satisfactory . A Go Pro I expect would have better performance. The gimbal proved permanently offset from perfect horizontal and there was no way to correct it (DJI offered to fix it). The mechanical assembly for the gimbal is imperfect and there is no correction available by software. This I thought was the main shortcoming. Flight time was never more than 15 minutes and not 25 minutes as advertised. I do not know if the prop guards had I removed them would have made a difference. Flying it under GPS mode has not been too difficult for somebody without RC aircraft experience. Overall I am pleased with the purchase.

Simply the best drone out there. Even with phantom 3 out there, this one still easily the top model. User just remember do not anything you are uncertain of or anything stupid. For example try to take off from your apartment balcony or anywhere lack of space. You can break the blades easily. Blades are the things I have bought many times. Video quality is easily top notch, stability is as advertised.
