Look at the propellers and see if it push down pull on them and if that doesn't work turn off the controller and qoud then turn it back on and calibrate it on a flat surface hope this helps

Yes, to perform a flip, press the right stick down and move the stick in any direction. For example: pushing up will make the H8 Mini perform a forward flip.

Yes, but it's piss-poor quality. it flies straight ahead in the direction it's pointed in, unless it's in headless mode.

With mine, which is a different model, the light goes on when fully charged. I would leave it plugged in no matter and see what's happening in a few hours, charged or not. The usb port must be active, (computer or whatever turned on).

Yes, but don't buy this quad. Go with a Syma brand quad instead. True story, don't waste your money. see less

If it spins even without the transmitter, and it is only motor, that sounds like a classic failure mode of MOSFET transistors used to control motors on devices like these. This won't be a visible short but rather one inside the transistor's casing, though there may be heat damage to or in the area of the transistor. … see more If it spins even without the transmitter, and it is only motor, that sounds like a classic failure mode of MOSFET transistors used to control motors on devices like these. This won't be a visible short but rather one inside the transistor's casing, though there may be heat damage to or in the area of the transistor. RC hobbyists with a bent towards tinkering can replace these (it does require some skill) so if it's too old to return you could try trading it to someone who might be able to repair it or else use it for spare parts. see less

FPV refers to Video camera that transmit Video feed to the lcd screen that it comes with and attachable to the transmitter. Idea in to see where the drone is heading even if the drone is not Visible from where you are controlling from. Be advised, range is ... 100ft ish

Maybe I'm just new to flying drones, but the first day I had it I broke a blade flying it inside. Changed it and decided to wait until tomorrow and go out side, well broke the another one. Took it back inside changed out the blade with the last extra you get and my son broke it, so its shelved for now. I got a SYMA X12 for my son for Christmas and he seemed to fly that one pretty good in the house a couple of days with out braking any blades. Until I said, "son let me hold that thing I'll show you how to fly it like a pro, let's go out side". After taking off and landing a time or two I wanted to see how high it could go, so that's what I done. We never saw it again.

this is the second one I ordered I stuck with this model because the first one was awesome. this one lasted two flights and then one of the motors failed so it went into a box and out to the garage. The first one took some beating and after countless flights and crashes it to had a motor burn out. awe : ( but wait I have spare parts from this one that failed now I'm flying again the only reason for the three stars is for its spare parts
