It can work but I would run a 11 tooth pinion or less and stock wheels . tried on my traxxas 4x4 with larger wheels and 13 tooth and it hesitated a lot off start . its the added weight I have on traxxas . I figure if its over 8 lbs give a little it might do the same .go with lower kV motor .

These banana plugs are 4mm sized , they will your esc. I would buy some spare 3mm and 4mm bullet connectors / banana plugs to have around in case sizes are not the same for future projects. This one is definitely 4mm, therefore it does fit the red at esc.

Worked fine with a low end brand 60a esc, so it should definitely work with a Velinion.

I have been using this motor for so long, it is amazing to increase the volcanic eruption speed from 17mph to 40-45. I'm not sure if it will run faster because the car loses control and I can remember that the fastest speed is 40 mph and the throttle is 3/4. I made a rookie mistake when choosing this engine for a 4x4 truck and I recommend against making the same mistake as me. Again, the product stands out in terms of speed, but it's a pain for a slow 4x4 cruise, because ESC believes the engine is stuck, and even the lowest grass has caused it trouble. I'll try to lower the cord and see if it works. If you are looking for an affordable fast motor, this is one of them.

Very good motor, we recommend you see if you want to switch to brushless or replace motor without spending a lot of money. After a hot summer shock, very good motor cables and high-quality bullet connectors don't get too hot, and high-quality machined cans and caps are missing at both ends. There is no clearance on the shaft, so you don't have to worry about damaging the bearings, and you can rebuild them by removing the screws on the back of the motor if necessary.

The motor rips up. Updated from the flash configuration of our ECX circuit. After 2 seconds, I had to squeeze the shoe's clutch and shift to a 14-tooth gear! (We also installed some bigger 120mm tires.) I have a custom wheel guard that will roll to a throttle under 20mph and hit directly. In all 3, the 2wd off-road vehicle is out of control in most cases. Any slippage caused by super smooth and easy entry will turn the truck backwards, so fast that you won't even be able to say "oh shh" before passing. I love hahaha.
