It can work but I would run a 11 tooth pinion or less and stock wheels . tried on my traxxas 4x4 with larger wheels and 13 tooth and it hesitated a lot off start . its the added weight I have on traxxas . I figure if its over 8 lbs give a little it might do the same .go with lower kV motor .

I bought a 120a but a 90a should work.

These banana plugs are 4mm sized , they will your esc. I would buy some spare 3mm and 4mm bullet connectors / banana plugs to have around in case sizes are not the same for future projects. This one is definitely 4mm, therefore it does fit the red at esc.

This will fit in the E-Revo but this is more of a bash motor these dont tend to last long for a long-term motor I would get the Sidewinder combo

Worked fine with a low end brand 60a esc, so it should definitely work with a Velinion.

This motor was great. I said was because while it was still running, the rear bearing was failing. Don't let that discourage you from buying this but be aware the motor isn't sealed. The Florida sand got into the bearing and ate it up. When it was running the truck flew, sometimes literally. I zip tied an rc plane to the top and drove around. It lifted off and flew off jumps. The kids thought it was the coolest thing. I used 2s and 3s batteries with no problem. The 3s setup made the motor run pretty hot though. I'm going to buy a set of bearings and repair this motor as the other motor I have is far slower (more torque). Have fun.

Amazing for the price. This motor is a standard 540 size, not a 380 stator in an oversized body. I have this installed in a Sakura S Zero touring car along with a hobby wing 120A Xerun v2.1 clone and have been amazed on well this setup performs! This is a high revving motor but still has ample torque for 4wd touring car or off-road use. I also haven't noticed any cogging or any issues. Overall I prefer this motor and Xerun clone over my Castle Sidewinder setup in my 2wd short course. Only time will tell if it lasts as long as my Castle setup. However for less than $30, this is a no brainer.

The tires break loose even on the pavement.top speed on pavement 31mph in an Arrma Fury 2wd 18t pinion gear,4000 mAh lipo. It does get hot. I never felt the stock motor after racing but, this one gets hot to touch.I did race hard for 20 mins.I have to get use to the power because when you gas it--it fish tails like crazy. I like it alot. It has plenty of power for the dirt. I have it in an Exceed Sunfire Buggy for speed runs also. I use a Floureon 5500 3s lipo, 29t pinion gear,120a ESC and got 60 mph.

Was pleasantly surprised at the strength of this motor. It is a good cheap upgrade to brushless. If you're brushed stock motor burned out and you need a replacement but you don't want to spend an arm and a leg on brushless then don't be scared off buy the low price, it is actually a decent motor and gave my Traxxas Bandit buggy a significant increase in power and when i punched the throttle from a stand still i was poppin wheelies like a boss, yeah like a boss. hahaha. Defiantly worth the money I have now had this for over a month and its still runs just as strong as the day i put it on my buggy and with my GoolRC 120a BL ESC running 3s lipos is no problem but i recommend running 2s as your primary battery with a smattering of 3s for the longest life span

I picked this up for a rustler because I didn't have much money but I needed a motor i expected it to be a cheap motor that would last a month but I was genuinely surprised when I ran it, installed it with a hobbywing wp-bl60a I've got it geared 23/86 it pulls wheelies without effort it runs at about 40mph and it doesn't over heat, it gets to about 90°-100° wich is not enough to damage the motor it also runs very smooth with no cogging at all (surprisingly)
