This motor is amazing. I converted a Traxxas nitro 4tec to brushless and I used this motor. On just a 3s battery the 4tec pulls the front wheels off of the ground and is an absolute rocket. I never expected this motor to make so much power. it actually bent the chassis from the sheer torque and stripped a differential on a car built for a nitro engine. This is my favorite motor I have ever owned and I have many. I will be getting a 1/10 scale monster truck soon and I will be getting another one of these motors to put on it.

We do a lot with RC cars, and we upgraded our old 540 brushed "truck" motor with this monster. (Also bought the companion controller.) The price is good, and the power is amazing. The RC car went from FUN, to CRAZY FUN! Wheelies on demand. Just wicked fast now. Caution: I also destroyed two "U" joints. Forward at 30mph, then slam on reverse does some crazy spinouts...but its really hard on the drive line. This was the single best upgrade I can imagine...and combine with a 3 cell battery lipo and its crazy fast. -NOTE: You need a new pinion gear as your old 540 gear shaft is probably much smaller.

It's excelent! Unfortunitly I didn't pay close enough attention to the ESC I paired with it & fried the esc, which is another story! Other than that this motor is super strong with plenty of tourque. I didn't even get a chance to adjust the esc to really get this motor going! But on factory settings I was totally impressed and satisfied with this motor. Could barely keep the truck on all 4 wheels. Did nothing but wheelies & rollovers!
