Features:
• Easy to install, just install the gantry, ribbon cable, and filament holder, and the installation can be completed within 2 minutes.
• Manual leveling, but BLTouch is also easy to install on the Artillery Sidewinder X1 3D Printer for automatic leveling.
• Excellent cable design, the cable design of Artillery Sidewinder X1 3D Printer is ribbon-shaped, which makes the appearance more neat and elegant.
• X, Y, and Z axes are very stable. The bed rail and X-axis of the Artillery Sidewinder X1 are constructed by using large 20 x 60 mm aluminum extrusions.
• Z-axis is composed of 40×20mm aluminum extrusion, a solid frame, and the Sidewinder X1 has a dual Z-axis synchronization system to ensure that the Z-axis will not swing due to printing large-volume models.
• Drive Titan Aero style extruder directly, this is the unique innovation of Artillery Sidewinder X1, so the heating is also quite fast, reaching 200°C within one minute, and can rise up to 270°C.
• Extruder of Artillery Sidewinder X1 3D Printer is equipped with two fans. One is to cool the extruder, and the other is to cool the printed matter. A good cooling effect makes the printed model more perfect.
• AC heating bed uses lattice glass, which has good viscosity, durability, and flatness. It can be heated quickly and increase temperature. It takes about 50 seconds to heat to 60°C, and it only takes less than 2:30 minutes to reach 100°C.
• Material interruption sensor will send out a reminder when the material is used up, continue printing after the material is added.
• After the power is off, the printing function can be automatically restored when power is back on, the printing result will not be affected.
• Artillery Sidewinder X1 3D Printer supports micro SD and USB. The printing process is very quiet, and the noise level is maintained at around 45 dB.
• Artillery Sidewinder X1 3D Printer has a large printing volume of 300 x 300 x 400 mm. 3.5-inch color touch control screen, simple and convenient operation.

This is my first 3D printer so I wasn't sure what to expect. Originally I used SWX1 3D for my prints but was running into some issues with settings. A co-worker told me to spend the money and get a copy of Simpify3D. Paring this printer up with Simplify3D opened up so many options to push this thing to the limit. Spent about 4 days trying to figure out how to dial the unit in and was about to give up with having blobs/zips on the outside of my prints. But I finally got it, and damn this thing prints amazing! Right now for ultra fine prints im doing .16mm and for faster stuff and silks I'm running .2mm. I'm pushing the unit at 90mm/s (90% walls) without any issues. I pushed this up to 150mm for fun and it still looks great. Overall very very happy with this printer. I think if you spend the time working to dial-in the slicer settings and making sure your bed is level you will love this printer. Its Fast and it's really really quiet.

Took about 10 minutes to assemble, and is pretty straight forward. if you've ever assembled a 3d printer, it's stupidly simple, and then off it goes. In pure masochist fashion, I immediately put it through printing some of my cnc parts with a roll of garbage Amolen wood pla that failed every print in my other printers, and it came out smooth as butter. so i kept going. 3 days straight, no clogs, no nonsense. Big recommend, if you want something that you assemble, level and print with right out of the box. Every other Chinese printer I own required scores of replacement parts and waiting before they would just print, and this is the first that does what it says .

So I bought this to upgrade from my delta printer I put together as a kit. Firstly its great only having to put 2 major pieces together to get straight into the actual setup. Get the bed good and level once and you shouldn't have to worry about that ever again really. The manual shows to check the rollers on the z axis but I loosened some of the eccentric nuts on my y axis in addition because the bed wasn't perfectly smooth when moving it by hand and the rollers felt too tight. The filament calibration was a little off so I added an M92 to the start Gcode. "M92 E449" is what the calibration on my unit ended up at. For the extruder I went ahead and put a stainless nozzle on it and took the heatsink off of the heartbreak so I could put a dab of thermal paste in between it and the metal to try and help it pull the heat away better due to the design. If you are planning on printing with tpu make sure you print the spacer on thingiverse for the lever on the extruder. Mine was cocking a little sideways and allowed the tpu to escape the gears. Also I would print one of the part cooling shrouds to better cool both sides of the extruded filament. I printed a spool holder as I like the hanging type holders better. And I loved going from a dial menu to this touchscreen. Just faster and easier to navigate through everything. Also this thing is insanely quiet for a 3d printer. The 110 volt heatbed is nice and quick at heating up too. Overall I really like this printer. In my opinion it is the nicest/largest printer you can get for this kinda money.

This printer has been so far incredible. Setup was super easy. Adjust the bed which is also very simple to do. I was really worried about manual bed leveling, but did it only once and so far great prints. This is 3rd printer and so far the best. The quality of the prints are great. There is really good Facebook community to find profiles for Cura. I couldn't figure the stock slicing software. The Cura profile works great, make sure to get it. Cons, I'd say the slicer software. The printer is built like a tank. It's also quite that I can work in the room without a distraction. The buildtec bed works great, no adhesion issue. I definitely recommend it!!!

I have my son's Makerbot Replicator 2x that I started playing with. I wanted to print other filaments and tried and returned another large format printer that just wouldn't work. This printer out of the box was 100 times better. The surface is as good as the Ultra Base by Anycubic. Make sure you check and tighten everything and adjust the roller tension. You will get some great prints and this thing is super quiet. I am writing this review today because it's the last day to return t and I am definitely keeping it. Check out Filament Fridays on youtube. He gives his profiles which I found to be great. (First test print before making adjustments to my profiles.) Update 11/24/2020. After several months I still highly recommend this printer bought a CR 6SE and it’s good but my go to is still the Artillery.

Good quality prints, you have to do some digging around to figure out the best way for it to run on SWX1. I found a thingiverse post that walked me though it. I had to load this printer on a different version of SWX1 so that it wouldn’t mess with my other printers settings. The direct drive is good. Keep in mind you may be able to open up the bottom and switch it from 110 to 220v but this is an American version so the bed is only good for 110 and you will burn out the heating elements if you connect it to 220 because the bed uses ac voltage straight from the wall and is regulated to turn on or off by the board. Clean the bed when you get it. Put some glue stick down if your print is longer than 4 hours. Good printer.

The printer came well-packed and is mostly assembled. The printer comes with everything you need except filament. It also comes with some extra parts and basic tools. The only assembly required is attaching the gantry to the base, attaching the spool holder, and plugging in the ribbon cables (Use care!). I printed a strain relief clamp from Thingiverse to make the cable on the carriage last longer, but that is the only modification I've made so far. Print quality is very good and I haven't had any significant issues with bed adhesion that weren't my fault. The bed is a polymer coated glass plate which works very well. The only down side is that this coating is easy to scratch, so no metal tools. The printer also comes with basic software which works OK, but I have had much better print results using Cura instead. I was new to 3D printing and did a lot of research before purchase which has certainly helped me trouble shoot print the few print issues I've experienced. There are a multitude of YouTube videos and I recommend that if new to 3D printing, watching a few is worthwhile. Overall, I like the printer and have had no issues.

    1. Price With a discoutn code, I was able to safe 51€. For ~315€, you cant expect anything else in this quality! 2. Quality Super Quality. The printer came in an original Artillery branded box. Not a single scratch was either on the outsite nor on the printer. You can see, that no one hat this particular printer before. I was a bit worried ti begin with, but after I saw the package in my room, I was happy. 3. Usefullness I mean, come on. It's a 3D Printer. Everyone konws its usefullness 4. Shipping This was the most unexpected: From order to delivery in 3 days. Unbelievable. 100% recommendation

This thing is awesome. Assembly is straight forward, it has a very clean look. Calibration was simple enough, my bed turned out to be ever-so-slightly lower in the center than in the corners. This has not affected any prints yet.

This is my first personal 3D printer. I've used roughly a dozen other printers in fab labs, and while getting my degree. The artillery sidewinder seriously impressed me with the quality of the print, and how quiet it is. I found some cura profiles already created online, and other than a couple of tweaks here or there due to filament it's printed amazing.

We installed three Artillery printers for the home print farm. We run an industrial print farm with more expensive printers and these things just about compare at 1/3 the cost! Good hotend, interface and overall quality. You can tell Artillery listens and improves over time. Upgrades are infinite and most can be printed. We couldn't be happier we chose these printers.
