    I bought this for my toddler, but I had a lot of fun experimenting with it myself! Even small changes affect balance. Right now, he can enjoy rearranging the pieces and making it rock, and examining the size differences, matching the colors, and so on. But I know this will be useful for years in science exploration!

    All the kids love these. 18 months through 6 years. They have no trouble fitting the pieces into the slots. The younger ones haven't figured out the balancing concept yet but soon will as they watch the older kids.
