Apple HomeKit technology provides an easy, secure way to control HomeKit-enabled accessories using the Koogeek Home app (Apple Home app) and Siri on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple Watch. It is also compatible with Alexa and the Google Assistant, so you can use Amazon Echo or Google Home to control it after configuration. You can use the Google Assistant for voice control, even if you don't have a Google Home. For example: 
"Hey, Siri, turn on the Light Bulb." 
"Alexa, turn the Light Bulb to green."
"Ok Google, set the Light Bulb to 20%."

Simple Setup
Setup only takes a few minutes, no hub required. When configuring, screw it into a standard E26 light socket and use the Koogeek Home app to connect it to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. You can remotely turn connected light bulbs on or off, change colors, or adjust brightness using the Koogeek Home app, Siri, Alexa, or the Google Assistant. 

Remote Control
After successfully configuring Alexa or connecting to the Google Assistant, wherever you have Internet access (over cellular networks, e.g., 4G LTE / 3G, or any Wi-Fi networks), you can remotely control and monitor connected light bulbs with either iOS devices or Android devices, whether you are at home or not. 

* Note: If Alexa or the Google Assistant connection is not configured, controlling HomeKit-enabled accessories from your iOS devices over your cellular networks or other Wi-Fi networks requires your HomePod, Apple TV 4K, Apple TV, or iPad set up as a home hub. 

Sync and Share across Devices
After successfully configuring Alexa or connecting to the Google Assistant, the ON/OFF status, colors, and brightness of connected light bulbs are synced and shared across iOS devices and Android devices. 

Control Multiple Light Bulbs Simultaneously (for iOS Devices Only)
Create scenes and control multiple HomeKit-enabled light bulbs with different light colors and brightness at the same time. Turn a scene on or off by tapping it, setting a timer or just asking Siri. 

Schedule On/Off (for iOS Devices Only)
Set custom schedules and timers for a light bulb or a scene to turn connected light bulbs on or off at a specific time automatically.

  • Q Hi. I bought you bulb, but i have a problem. In Czech republic is voltage 230V and on official koogeek website is aproove use 120V and 230V. Check: https://www.koogeek.com/p-lb1.html But you have only 120V in conditions and i have fear to use this bulb. Its possible use this bulb on 230V or its absolutly impossible?

    I own two of these bulbs along with two other Koogeek switches. They are the most unreliable of all my smart home products. I own various products from iDevices, Phillips Hue, Leviton, and Chamberlain. Koogeeks disconnect from my network on a weekly basis. They are also not nearly as bright as the Hue bulbs and do not produce a nice warm light.

    Pretty reliable so far, fun and useful. Great to be able to change colours and moods in different parts of the house. Works well with iOS and with Siri.The bulb is heavy and seems high quality.The app is easy to use and has plenty of features and 100’s colours and configurations to choose from.Overall a good product would reccomend!!!!

    It's a great device! It shines very bright, all colors are well presented. The Koogeek app is okay, there is this one important button so that you can go back to that one simple bright white color. It works very nice with Apple HomeKit, you can use it via Siri. It can change colors and brightness level via sound commands. Of course it has limits of a normal lightbulb so you you have turn it on and off via app/iPhone/voice command because if you shut it down with a switch it won't have the energy to work properly after, right? Quite obvious ; )

    We own a number of Philips Hue bulbs and have various uses for them around the home, so we thought we’d give this one a go to compare it. Firstly, it was delivered within the timescales advised so we were pleased about that. The packaging is quite nice too, it comes housed in a white two piece box with an image of the product on the front. The bulb itself is really good, It was easy enough to pair with my iPad and iPhone and has so many color options and brightness settings. Like with most smart bulbs, I love that the app has the option to set schedules for the light bulb to turn on and off at specific times on a repeat pattern which is perfect for when we are away for the weekend etc. The one thing that I was disappointed with is that this only works with iOS, so only the one phone in the house is able to operate it along with the iPad, all of the other phones on android are unable to connect to it, therefore, if you changed your phone in the future to an android one you’d be rendering the bulbs useless without another apple device in the home. Despite the lack of android functionality this bulb is actually pretty good, it works really well, is really simple to pair and use, and even allows voice control via Siri. An excellent alternative to the Philips Hue - providing you own an iPhone or iPad.

    This light bulb is actually pretty cool and useful. This lightbulb is actually pretty cool and useful because of the HomeKit option for iOS devices and light color changing capabilities. First of all my favorite feature about this lightbulb is that it is compatible with HomeKit. That means I can use it in my phone with Siri without any issues. So I can say “Hey Siri turn on my bedroom light” Siri will turn it on instantly and it can do the same to turn it off. Also it’s great this lightbulb is compatible with the HomeKit because the up coming Apple Homepod should be compatible with this technology. Another reason this light bulb is awesome because you don’t need a second switch in the wall like you would need for other smart products. This is great because this can also work with lamps and things such as you just need wifi. Talking about the wifi there is one negative. The negative is that this product does not work on 5ghz networks that are usually faster but only work on the regular or standard 2ghz network. Another positive is that this lightbulb also has a very sturdy build and is well built and heavy. Otherwise than all that there is not to much more to say besides out of personal use this lightbulb works well and Id reccomend it to anyone looking for a smart lightbulb for their house.     It is interesting that this light bulb operates from the cell phone. You need to download the app and it is easy to set up. It's amazing to control your light with your app and convenient to monitor. Great smart products and not special installation needed. All I have to do is to say "Siri turn on light bulb" and Siri confirms by saying ok, the light bulb is on. We only need the light in the front door to be able to see the keyhole and not tripping on anything. I did not touch the switch and magically the light turned on. We will get more of these lights. We also dimmed the light to 75 percent to get the right brightness that we needed.

    This bulb is awesome for replacing "dumb" bulbs in your house. I like that it has just about all the same features as my Philips Hue lights. The only downfall is that there is no android app, so you should probably be aware of that when buying. Otherwise a great bulb, and easy to set up!

    I have been looking at smart bulbs and plugs for a while now and decided to take the plunge with this bulb as it stated it was compatible with the Apple Homekit system. I need to get the elephant out of the room right now and say that as far as I can tell this light only works with Apple products. If you have Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa you cannot control this bulb with any of those devices. If you have an Apple iPhone or iPad however you are good to go. So with that out of the way, what is the bulb like? The bulb was larger than I expected and quite heavy. It has a large screw thread, I had a cheap adapter to change this to a bayonetted and that worked fine. The lack of instructions bought me back to the side of the box where it lists what the bulb can do and I quickly found the Koogeek app on the App Store, installed and paired it with the bulb. It was all very easy. Once paired it is a very easy app to use, you can set schedules so the bulb turns on and off at different times and change the light level (dimmer) and the color of the bulb. I will be looking into the Apple HomeKit stuff over the weekend and will report back if there is a problem or difficulty but somehow I doubt it, it is all very well thought out. Would I recommend it? Well as long as you want to invest fully into the Apple HomeKit eco structure then yes, it works and it works well.

    Koogeek bulb worked perfectly...it easily found 2.4ghz network even with 5ghz running at the same time...lights worked perfectly with Siri handling on, off, power percentage, and choice of color. Have not had any disconnects and all is running....these bulbs are not quite as bright as some other lights but performed well. Best of all a price of 36.99 is much better than Lifx or Phillips Hue, or iLuv Rainbow8. Buy these and enjoy.

    This is my 4th Koogeek product, and definitely not my last. I have two outlet switches, one wall switch and now this light bulb. Like all Koogeek products I have used so far, they work exactly as expected. Sometimes Homekit hangs up for any of my 13 devices, but this bulb and all Koogeek products work just as well if not better than the rest. Also, like all Koogeek products, they are a little chunky, and not exactly the prettiest, but they are extremely cost effective and extremely functional. I am no expert on color accuracy, or brightness, but the bulb looks good to me. I have heard that Philips Hue is the best in these categories, but for the price of an on/off bulb in the Hue platform, you get a multicolor bulb that does not require a hub. This is where Koogeek shines, and I'm very glad I waited for their offering rather than jumping into any platform that requires a separate hub.

    I am an automation enthusiast. I own several dozen programmable bulbs from different manufactures, Hue, Cree, LIFX, etc.. I love this one! It was very easy to install. It worked immediately, first time in both the Koogeek app and Apple Home app. The colors selection and the interface in general is intuitive. I also really like the looks off this bulb. It doesn't need a shade hiding its elegance. Every detail was designed for optimal performance and appearance. I suspect it will eventually be supported by SmartThings since it is internet based.

    I'm a home automation enthusiast so I was excited when I saw a smart LED bulb with stats similar to a LifX (which usually runs $70) for nearly half the price. It communicates with your phone via bluetooth radio. Its equivalent to a 60W bulb. I wish it was closer to a 100w but 60w worked fine in the office where I set it up. It has 16K colors and for whites, the color temp ranges from 2700-6k. You can control the power and color/white temp or dim the light all from the app. I LOVE that this works with apple homekit My only suggestion would be to get it to work with amazon echo or smartthings so you can use it when setting up scenes. Other than that - its great!

     Whoa! This smart light bulb is everything. I've recently started using smart light bulbs and smart outlets to upgrade my apartment. I tried the Koogeek Smart Light Bulb and it was a everything I could have ever wanted. First, it was super easy to install, to me that's huge. I've heard of people having fits trying to get these smart bulbs to sync with their wifi. The steps were simple and intuitive. You can even take a picture of the numbered code within the instruction manual to make it that much easier. Second, the colors are distinct and endless, if you're like me and enjoy a life of themes and colors, this is your kinda light bulb. There's a color wheel feature in the app that makes it easy to choose a color, brightness or saturation. Third, this is the first smart light bulb I've used with Apple Home, which also can be accessed through Siri. I love this option. You can even tell Siri which color and boom, it appears like magic! This smart light bulb makes my home more fun and technologically advanced. (Seriously though, you can go from turquoise to electric salmon in a second.)

    These bulbs are very good with HomeKit, which is the reason I purchased this product. I purchased two bulbs. One bulb setup perfectly and was ready to use within a couple of minutes. The next bulb was not seen through the Koogeek Home app when attempting to walk through the setup. After contacting the seller we were going to replace it. However, I saw Koogeek had posted their support email support@Koogeek.com on other reviews here, so I contacted them through email. They had me reset the bulb following these instructions: Use the power switch to switch the lights continuously 5 times (the last time you need to keep it turn on state). Wait 2 seconds, the color of the bulb will turn red, 5 seconds later when it turns to warm white indicating that the light bulb has been reset. After I reset the bulb, all worked and is working fine. Maybe those steps will help someone else. Mark

    I'm going to start off with this is my first smart bulb. This thing is heavy and I thought it was going to be a lot brighter. I love how you can set a desired light color in the app, I do wish you could set by temperature so you could get the maximum brightness out of blue and white. The setup was simple and fast using the app. I think this bulb is a nice addition to my smart home which is driven by the same brand plugs and switches. I love this brand cause you don't need a hub to run their devices. The app also has many great features color matches pictures, and a color wheel. This bulb has so many feature and settings.
