I bought this light as a supplemental light to my indoor plants. The lamp is the perfect height for my plants. I love how adjustable the arm is. I can also change how much light my plants receive by moving the light up/down or changing the angle of the light. Natural light coming in from my window also helps illuminate the plants. There are heads,all of which can be moved according to my needs. It is well built and you can bend each side in any direction. You can also increase or decrease the strength. The lamp also has a clip thing so,you can put it in a variety of places. I am very happy to see how my plants like it! So far, they look very happy and cheer up! My plants are my stress reliever so I bought this ELAINE LED GROW LIGHT. I highly recommend this Led light for people who loves indoor plants. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I dont regret this purchase at all. I clip it to my window sill on cloudier day, I use them I have to bring in my outdoor succulents during rain, heavy wind, poor weather. I love it for my succulent propagation trays and growing seedlings as well!! People in other reviews complain because they buy these and expect them to keep a dozen plants thriving. If you have more than one or two 3-5 inch plants underneath them, they'll work a treat (for those that want to use them as full time lights for an indoor garden with no natural light) I did my research on how much lumens and how powerful the light I would need for what I was looking for- and this fit the bill perfectly! Do your research on the care and light requirements of your plants BEFORE choosing a grow light, and if you cant afford the bigger more expensive ones, supplement with natural light. Good luck! I would absolutely recommend these for the uses I described above, and am completely satisfied.

This light is literally a ray of sunshine; it helps me as much as it helps my plants. I enjoy the ambient glow in my office window, and the dark back keeps the light from beaming me in the eyes. I waited aprox 2 weeks after purchase to leave a review so I could accurately report on progress. I have my lights about 6 inches above the foliage, and so far it seems fine; I couldn't find a good reference for distance, so I'm winging it. I have seen marked improvement in my plants, which were getting leggy in my tinted north-facing window. I've got old growth resuming and new growth coming on, which can be seen in the pictures I've attached. The timer function was a must for me and is working like a charm. I haven't bothered with the dimmer features yet, because my plants need all the help they can get right now. Really, I couldn't be happier. Plants featured: phal orchid, airplane/spider plant, satin philodendron.
