This DMX512 wireless receiver/transmitter acts a bridge between wired and wireless standard DMX512 protocol data. I tested the device in 3 methods and all worked easily, effectively, with instantaneous response to connected lighting. 1) the Lixada to a DMX control board via XLR connector controlling wireless lighting 2) the Lixada to a Enttex USB to DMX adapter with low cost a 5pin to 3pin DMX adapter controlling wireless lighting 3) the Lixada to XLR connected wires lights receiving a wireless signal from another wireless controller With the Lixada I am able to resolve many lighting control issues where there is a mix of wired and wireless connectivity or as a base transmitter for full wireless control eliminating connecting cable limited completely. In all cases there was no delay and signal data was received real time and reliably. Once you set the unit up which is very easy with auto frequency scanning and DMX signal activity identification, it stores the configuration even with power removed so I can set up a lighting system and know that when the show is ready I won't have to reconfigure. This is helpful for mobile and temporary set ups. There are 16 ID groups available so you can link separate DMX universes on separate channels 0 through 9 & A-F and 4 output power levels 0db, 8db, 14db, 20db so you can match the paired equipment. The component construction is professional grade. Aluminum housing, well machined, all screws set tightly, solid feel buttons, easy to read display, and solid connectors. The power cord is about 5ft and the unit is powered with a coax connected 12vdc wall adapter which may impede using all outlets on a power strip. Especially given the low cost, this is a well made unit that has the flexibility to meet many needs in a wireless DMX lighting system. I received this unit at a discount with a request to test, provide feedback, and post an unbiased review to help others make a buying decision. (Note the blur in the LCD display on photo is due to system frequency scanning as it was not in an active DMX network for photo)

I have this wireless dmx works great and I have to pull a long cable to control the light, I'm very happy.
