This light gives light that you won’t stumble while walking on the patio, but not bright enough for needle point.

Not sure how to answer your "I want plastic" part of the question, but I have 4 of these lights, two large and two small, used outside and inside. Each light has it's own separate solar panel that powers the light, so the light is where you need "light" and the solar panel is mounted where it will get "sun light". I am inside the cabin and control the light (which is outside on the deck) 20ft-50ft away) works just fine. ....hope this helps. This was a good purchase.

I'm not sure, but I know it's bright. If I could post a pic, I would. It lights up the room quite well. Not sure what you need it for, I put it in my chicken coop, 8x8 and it's very bright.

The old shed in our backyard didn't have a light and I suggested to my brother to get one of these. Finally got around to ordering it. Installation is pretty easy and straight forward but make sure you put it in the right place since the screws strip easily. Lights up the old, dark shed pretty well. The little control is nice too.
