DJ REVIEW: 5-Star Performance (for a cheap off-brand fixture) You're looking for the best cheap LED Par light for your band, DJ setup, or event? You just found it. IN THE BOX: I received a OPPSK fixture, mounting bracket, IRC (infrared controller), and instruction manual written in broken English. REVIEW: Best value off brand cheap par light, period. Immediately, I notice the back of the fixture is not flat - due to the protruding power cord. The bracket can be mounted at 180* from the light and will clear the power cable. The issue here is if you plan to use it for standalone uplighting - you will need to Do-It-Yourself bolt it to a homemade base. It may be worth paying for a full size uplight, or purchase an additional bracket to "scissor" as legs. Admittedly, the bracket's size does cause some minor issues with cable management, crowded. The 4-digit 4-button digital display is simple to manually enter RGB-Uv values for solid color mode or cycle through pre-programmed Fade, Sound active, and Strobe, in Standalone. DMX: DMX 3/4/7/8 available. Also works well in DMX daisy chain. DMX IN & DMX OUT in each fixture. THERE IS A DELAY OF .12s for DMX shows with other lighting. Noticeably out of sync with professional grade lighting. UV: I'm impressed. For the price, there's a decent output of UV (Blacklight) effect. It's not going to compete with a UV Cannon or Chauvet Shadow, but it's a nice touch for color mixing or blacklight in a $25 fixture. Size: This unit is SMALL, good and bad. The picture provided with lights behind the musician is misleading. The light is approximately 6" in all dimensions - think the size of an acorn squash, or small cantalope melon. Overall, it's not a professional light. However, it's well worth $25 and will do the trick for color washing in a DJ setup, or residential / low ceiling uplighting in a dimly lit/ dark room.

Great for what it is. My only gripe is that it makes a hard to miss sound when it is plugged in/ on that is pretty annoying. I am accustomed to the humming sound of lights and appliances - this is loud enough to make me want to return the product. UPDATE: After using this thing for a week, the audible hum has turned into a non-ignorable noise. It is loud enough to be heard in another room (with the door closed). It has effectively rendered this product useless. I really liked the price point and quality of light this thing produced, especially the black light feature. I am going to ask for a refund or replacement
