Does this fit the larger positive terminal posts? Most battery disconnects are made to fit the negative posts but I need one for the + post.

  • It does not fit the positive side. I purchased it for the positive side and is not useful to me. I already have a negative disconnect.

      These are taller than I expected and they hit my hood when installed so I couldn't use them. Other than that they appear to be well built.

      I like this particular disconnect switch because it can be installed in-line with a minimum of movement of the battery cable. The unit can be taken apart by unscrewing the red knob allowing installation of the two halves separately which reduces how far the cables have to move.
