The instructions are good, but they have some moments of confusion so be prepared to do things more than once. Don't drill mounting holes until you've set it up and proven it works at least twice. My initial equipment could not be made to work until I swapped the Rear-labeled transmitter to the front wheel. Also, the device does NOT have a positive display of success, it only tells you it's working by the absence of any errors. You cannot check the actual inflation of both wheels when there are no alarms. (Pressing the up/down buttons only shows you the tire temp/DC voltage, the alternate displays.) This is disconcerting but at least I see one tire's pressure at all times plus a green LED. The product is better than no TMPS at all, but only perhaps if you're a DIY-er.

Nice product, the mount it comes with is strong, important to a bike owner. The reason fore the 4 star rating due to: 1 Steelmate said that the unit can set thresold values for front and back wheels independly, not so, this is a sliding scale of plus or minus of 10 psi. EX: If you run 40 psi in the tire and set the thresold at such, then the unit will alarm at 51 psi for high reading or 29 psi for low. 2 Slow response at power up, I'll be 2 miles down the road on adv. till I get a reading from the unit.
