Only fours stars but after these Mods: Ditch the battery. Always run a power adapter say over 350 Ma and I run it on 12 Volts for extra Juice and it takes it! But be smart and keep your OD pedal down to 3/4 level or less. Which was Mod two, Add a Distortion, And or digital delay like mine. Mod 3: I cut a 3/16" groove in bottom, slid a R-S 3-1/8th inch 4 ohm speaker Squeezed in with a massive magnet and its a whizzer cone full range and it it So Loud from a tiny Amp with all 3 Mods. and you Will have to Ditch the battery to fit or just slip a 9 volt in belt hook like I do. I think I also pulled the resistor off from headphone jack or rewired so I can have full power to an external 12 inch box and that is super loud. And with a 4 Ohm it doubles watts now to 6. maybe 7 or 8 watts with 12Vdc. LOL. Trust me, the 3-1/8th speaker is huge compared to 1-7/8ths that comes out. And 8 times the magnet. So spend the extra 15 for a good speaker and adjustable power if you can hack the speaker into it. Or its just 2.5 stars. But if you Mod it, Bring the guys with a pignose in for a sound off. Wish mine had bass and treble. Sound is gritty in OD but solid state.
