    Our teenage son is just taking an interest in learning the guitar. This was the perfect piece of equipment to get him started. He has not taken lessons as of this point, but spends a lot of time watching videos and learning different cords. We have been extremely happy with this investment.

    This is a very decent guitar for beginners. No damage when it was deivered. You'd have to tune it though before using (which is expected). Overall, good quality for it's price (I got it on sale).

    This guitar goes above and beyond what one would expect from an inexpensive starter. It's easy to play for someone just starting out and it has a pretty good light and swinging sound.

    The guitar is called a folk guitar in the description, but its body is shaped more like a dreadnought size. The first thing I noticed was how well it was packaged.
