I bought this for my son. The blue color is amazing and vibrant! Haha. I played with it a few minutes and even though I had no idea wha I was doing and just randomly struck different notes it sounded surprisingly melodic and peaceful. Like, really nice! He will love it and I love that it isn’t loud and pounding like his other drums. Great gift for all ages!

I have been wanting to purchase one of these small drums for my preschool class and I finally did it. The price on this one was within my price range and for the money, this is a great value I wish the drum area was a little larger, because I miss the hit area often, but I won't complain. I bought this is purple and it is gorgeous. The sound quality is pretty good. I don't really know the difference, and my guess is maybe a more expensive one might sound a little bit better, but this one works great for me. The kids absolutely love it at preschool.

Beautiful sounding instrument. I bought this for my toddler with sensory processing disorder. She loves it and I love hearing her express herself on such a beautifully crafted and tuned drum. I catch myself playing it too! I find it helps my mind relax. The color is beautiful and inspiring. The drum and attached mallet case encourage respectful care. All in all I felt this was a wonderful value for the price. I would buy this drum again and I see myself purchasing more instruments from this vendor.
