    I was able to get some fairly good notes out of it right out of the box. I am very happy with it. In my own case, closing so tightly on the bottom of the mouthpiece for a few weeks caused a lip-area problem, from which I am now recovering.

    It works just as beautifully as it looks aswell! The only thing im having difficulty with is the top piece where it contests to the body is a bit tough to put on.

    I received my Muslady Saxophone several weeks ago .I had no such problem and found the sax to be playable right out of the box! The tone is very good and all of the keys were operational including the very lowest.
