Questions & Answers
It will work with electric-acoustic guitars that have the ability to plug into an amplifier. I use it with my headphones to practice without disturbing anyone. It's great for traveling, don't have to lug your amplifier around. Hope this helps.

You need the headphones to hear it. They are the speakers.

Probably won't get the results you want. Vox makes one specifically for bass

If you mean "work" then yes, but it clips at higher volume for guitar so I'm thinking at low volume. I will try it w/ bass sometime.

Yes any will work with the small 1/8" stereo jack. But if you want good sound use one with good bass response. I like earcandy.

Requires a bit of knowledge of gain structure if you are looking to replicate a certain amp sound. More like a Vox than a Marshall or HiWatt. Or just play around with it and have fun. One note of caution: not all headphone plugs will fit in the headphone jack; seems to be designed more for earbuds (or in-ear monitors) and not beefy closed ear studio headphones, but my personal preference for these type devices are beefy closed ear headphones.

This is the best thing to buy for the price. I prefer it to my phone apps with a special cord I have. For what you pay it will do a very good job. It allows one to apply distortion or clean tone. It worked as intended and is very well made. I have no complaints. I do wish it contained a rechargeable internal battery. The AAA batteries (takes two) , last a very long time. 40 hours. I put disposable lithium in it and had o issues. For the price. You can't get a better portable headphone amp. Plus it has an AUX port also. I don't use that but it is a nice feature. It does have a GAIN, TONE and Volume knob. I am sure some other versions have different sounds. For the price. You get a solid item with this.

I didn't really think much of it, but after playing with it for a little while, I can happily say I'm pleased with this purchase. It's got a great amount of control just on the device, not to mention what you can do on the guitar to fine tune control as well. Makes for some interesting blends.
