    Bought as a gift for my husband who is a musician and owns many guitars. He just loved the idea of building this when he received it, he has been having so much fun with it. FYI painting it a bright metallic red, looks beautiful!!

    I love this kit. This is my first and of many to come. I bought some custom parts.( The bridge and knob plate, pick guard) they didn't line up, so I had to drill new holes. Not done with it yet.

    Assembly instructions don't always match the product but close enough to understand.When assembled the guitar sounds very good and i used it on a gig for a few songs and it was okay. If i were to use it as my gig guitar i would change to better pickups and a bridge but for a at home or back up guitar it is great as it is.

    This is an unfinished, un-assembled guitar !!! If you can't do the woodworking, finishing, and wiring, then don't buy this kit. But if you have previous build experience for this, you'll get a very nice professional-looking finish.I can’t complain about this kit at all, a very good looking kit.

    Complete kits, at least for me everything fit together well. Based on everything I've seen so far though, this thing is a steal for the money, and I'd definitely recommend it to others.

    I just received this Kit, so it's not assembled yet, but this guitar is very nice. It does have a basswood body, maple neck, and maple fretboard. The special design without headstock looks pretty cool. I can't wait to get it finished so I can play it.

    The body arrived in great shape, as did the neck. The neck's special design without headstock is really cool. This is amazing quality for the price!
