I have this pedal ... I was surprised to see that this pedal uses the optional JRC-4558 amplifier chip and the same chip used in the Ibanez TS-808 pro ... I really like this pedal. How to modify it ... The 3-way cutout works like this ... The top is the classic tube scream clone ... The middle is an elevator with some soft and clean tones ... below, it's a softer clip And a richer sound than the improvement or the standard However, although the volume drops slightly, once the volume in the amplifier increases slightly, it will be more transparent ... for those who want a modified Ibanez tube tip For those who They call overloaded clones, just look at this pedal. .. If you want to confirm what I saw with the JRC-4558 amplifier chip, all you have to do is remove the two input rings on the side, remove the lever ring and the front knob, and remove the four screws. Bottom and explosion ... PCB comes out and shows the circuit of this pedal ... This money is a top configuration and do not let the graphics prevent you from thinking about buying one ... this is the real deal, when it comes to the real thing The Ibanez tube shout is used, it has JRC-4558 to select the amplifier chip, so you still want something more than the correct Ibanez name box ... but, of course, that is more than what you spend. .. .. I have this pedal and I also have TS 808 pro and the sound is exactly the same, except for this more tone selection ... Guess which one I changed the echo of the Wampler tape and which one I keep ... this pedal is The Best value of a crazy crazy driver and a factory modified tube scream clone ...

I have one setting that I like, and the only button or knob I use is to turn it on or off. Would never use it to record, but for the price it is 100% an awesome choice! Totally sufficient for a live situation if your amp doesn't have reverb, or you just want to easily turn reverb on or off.

I'm not a big cork-sniffer when it comes to reverb, I barely like enough to soften the edges a tad on my Marshall head (with no reverb), This thing was about as cheap as I could find anywhere, but yet it seems to be of very decent quality (no added noise that I could tell) ... Sure it's no Holy-Grail... but come on... who really needs a $200 reverb stomp?

Ok, so, music is just my hobby. I'm not rough on my equipment. I think the song is far more important than the equipment used to MAKE the song. With all that said, my opinion is that this reverb is just as good as anything else I've ever used. Lots of flexibility, very sturdy, and great sounding are 3 things I would say to describe this pedal.

I was looking for an inexpensive reverb solution for my modded Peavey Windsor head. I modded that amp so that it is more like a Marshall 2203 and it really sounds excellent now. I run this pedal in the effects loop. I also run it behind my Seymour Duncan Twin Tube distortion pedal into another tube amp that doesn't have reverb. It works really well there too. Lots of flexibility in this pedal - as others have described. Very happy with it. I have never tried running it on a battery. I power it with a Visual Sounds 1-Spot.
