  • Q What type of glue did you use to assemble the violin body in the $ 52 violin KIT? If I buy the kit I intend to remove the top and properly shape the inside of both the.back and top of the violin. If hide glue was not used, can I purchase the kit with the top NOT GLUED to the body so that I have access to the inside portion of both, the top and back, to properly thin them, improving tone quality.     A Glue a lot of types, you can use fish glue, gelatin and so on.
