Generally, I believe you get what you pay for. In the case of the Joyo JF-33 you get a little more. The price is impossible to beat for the sound. It's not a true analog delay, but it is an excellent digital recreation. It's not quite as warm and colorful as an actual analog delay, but if you want (controlable) delay feedback that mutates and sings forever and a widely variable delay time, it's got that. You can whip the delay time back and forth to divebomb the pitch of the feedback repeats or turn it the other way and send it screaming to the heavens. It's also in a sturdy metal case, which I did not expect. The bad: -It's very noisy. It introduces a lot of hum into your signal chain when activated, even before you play through it. -It's unusable with batteries. You can technically power it off batteries, but none of the features work properly, or they only do for a couple minutes before everything just gets short and crunchy in a bad way. I don't know if this is a defect or if it just devours batteries at an absurd rate. Definitely plan on using AC power if you get this pedal. -Plastic washer on foot switch. This hasn't broken yet, but from experience with every other pedal with a plastic washer on the switch, it's only a matter of time before you stomp the button into the enclosure. It's a very cheap and easy fix, but I recommend replacing this ASAP. All in all though, it's more (simulated)analog delay than you'll find for the price anywhere else.

I was certainly suspicious of a true Analog delay pedal of such a low cost, if it was going to perform up to certain expectations and I tell you it may not be as dependable and perform as smoothly as a Maxon or Ibanez AD9 but it was dam well very good and well worth the money! Don't expect the world but even if it was 15 more it would still be worth it. I purchased a number of the Joyo Pedals and have not tried all of them yet but will soon and I will more than likely do some YouTube reviews on them.

Nothing fancy, but works as expected and sounds good. The build is solid. Looks like some people have had problems, but mine works just fine. I don't notice a significant tone variation when active, but I tend to keep the level very low. The way I use it, I like to set it with a fairly long delay time and a medium number of repeats, but at very low level. Then I do the same with a second analog delay (the Biyang AD-10, which is also a good value), but with the second one I use just a tiny bit faster delay time (or slower) than the first pedal. The result is a sort of quiet, flanging reverb in the background that I keep on almost all the time. Sounds great. Verdict: a solid basic analog delay. Nothing fancy. Analog goodness. Nice size. Has true bypass. Useful controls. Good build quality. Great price.

This is the Fourth Joyo pedal I have purchased and, for the money spent they are all hard to beat. I have them all on my pedal board along with some other brand pedals that I own and, they are quiet, sound Great, and, the bang for the buck is unmatched by any other pedals. You cannot beat the price of these pedals, period. I would not hesitate to recommend a Joyo pedal to anyone. There are differences out there in brands and, in quality but, I'll definately tell you that when I kick any of the joyo pedals I have into use I am not dissappointed! If I was they would off my board and, gone for good.

Just a little bright in the delays. It would be great if this had a knob to adjust the high and low frequency on the delays. I think this pedal is voiced just a little bright, but I am being pretty critical. A good pedal and I think it's better then everything else in this price range.

I bought this pedal on a whim and had no idea what to expect really, and I'm completely happy with it. I've been using it for about a year now and it's still holding up great! This can make a huge range of sounds from subtle to insane. If you crank up the repeats you can even get some awesome feedback out of it. I had never been a fan of pedals before, but this guy opened the door for me. Give it a try, you'll be glad you did!

As is my experience with all the Joyo pedals that I have tried, this one is amazing. Really nice old school analog delay, blends the signal well and doesn't color the sound. I have run this both in the loop or straight in the signal train through the front of my amplifier and it always sounds clear. Works well with all pickups and adds a lot of body to your sound with out having to try so hard. Components are good and solid, sturdy chassis and nice simple finish. Great product for a great price.

Works fine and for the price an good deal. Don't try and compare it in performance to a Digitech or Boss pedal. However, my ears have a hard time telling the difference, but my wallet sure can tell the difference in price I paid.

Like the headline says this is a tough delay pedal to beat for the money. It's a copy of the MXR Carbon Copy and it does a good job imitating the sound. If you want nice slap back delay all the way to spacey long delays then give this pedal a try. The housing case is nice and it's true bypass so no tone is lost.

Cheap, sounds great, and gives a nice volume boost when used. With this and their ultimate drive Joyo is starting to become my favorite pedal manufacture.

I bought this and hooked it up in my effects loop of my Bugera 6262. I also have a behringer dd600 but wanted a delay in a metal case. Whenever I kicked it on it doubled the volume. Pedal off volume was normal and with it on volume was doubled. Can't adjust the output and I definitely can't lower the volume of my amp every time I want to use delay. I will try the joyo digital delay.
