Features:
Ten isolated output.
Isolated short circuit / overcurrent protection.
Powers for 9V, 12V or 18V effect.
Bright blue LED for Pedal Board lighting & short circuit indicating.
Includes cables.

Part Name and Functions:
1. Switch for LED lights: Turn the switch towards those LED lights, normally all lights will go on after the power is connected. If you don't want all LED lights, please turn the switch back. The front panel of this unit has 10 high-brightness LED lights working as indicators, as well as lighting for pedal board.
2. DC 18V INPUT: Please plug in the output of power adapter here, and do not use adapter from elsewhere.
3. OUTPUT 1-7: All DC 9V power output with the maximum volume of 100mA; they are suitable for ordinary analog effectors. Under the circumstances of all LED lights on, instantaneous overcurrent in certain output will lead to the corresponding LED light's flash and the current of this channel is limited to 100mA. That is to say, output 1-7 might not be able to work properly if the connected digital effectors are of larger power consumption, then you need to use output 8.
4. OUTPUT 8: Also DC 9V power output with maximum volume of 500mA, it is suitable for digital effectors and DC 9V low-power digital guitar amplifiers. When instantaneous overcurrent occurs in this channel, the corresponding LED light will flash and the current is limited to 500mA.
5. DC12V OUTPUT: The maximum output current is 100mA. When instantaneous overcurrent occurs in this channel, the corresponding LED light will flash and the current is limited to 100mA.
6. DC18V OUTPUT: The maximum output current is 100mA. When instantaneous overcurrent occurs in this channel, the corresponding LED light will flash and the current is limited to 100mA.

Attention:
Incorrect polarity may damage this unit, please make sure the correct positive and negative polar before wiring.

Q

I notice it stated that each outlet is rated at 100mA. I'm a fairly new guitar player; so this may be a silly question. But, that's never stopped me before. It seems I've heard that some pedals need more that 100mA. Is this true; or will this run a standard fuzzbox, tremelo, wah-wah pedal, etc?

A
  • Hey Chris, Yes, some pedals do require more power but vast majority of pedals will be totally fine. A lot of the pedals that require more power usually come with their own power supply. Hope this helps, I've been extremely happy with this unit.

Jacks 1 - 7 are rated at 100ma. are these daisy chained? i want to plug a 150ma pedal into one and i'm only using 4 of them. is it safe?

A
  • They are Daisy chained, but I just doesn't deliver the power, when it says 100 doesn't do it at 100%. Just don't but this thing, just dont.... mine was taking ages to respond and would fail in the middle of a song, etc

Q

does anyone know how long the power cable that connects to the pedal is?

A
  • The AC Adapter cable is 50 inches. The DC cables from the device to your pedals are 21 inches. There are are also several 6 inch cables that convert standard 9V center negative to 9V center positive (very handy).

Q

Some power bricks reduce noise and hum - does the Joyo help in that area?

A
  • My Joyo power supply works very well to supply power to my pedals and they work nice and clean, as for other types of hum I couldn't say because I haven't taken to the road yet. I can say for all my chains in my bedroom I can always get it clean when something starts buzzing.

Q

After reading some reviews I have to ask. Is this really isolated?

A
  • No, it's not a true isolation. Each input is separate and this power supply is reliable and a step up from a one-spot or similar daisy chain. It does reduce noise, but you will still have some. However, no matter what you do, with some pedals you will continue to have noise.

Q

does it work with 240V AC power (European voltage)?

A
  • I comes with a transformer. So it should be fine. It is made in china. I live in china now and seen this same model in music shops.
