I believe that it has two octaves. I would not wast money on this , we tried a better mouthpiece and reed and it still would not play the notes in tune.

Yes,alto. Think twice before you purchase the instrument, though.

As a clarinet and recorder for many years, I am very interested in this little horn. It took him about 3 minutes to feel the sensation of a larger mouthpiece and a saxophone tongue. These instructions are very well written and do not dilute the need to experiment with the position of the mouthpiece and the pressure of the lips. For those who are difficult to produce sound and those who have doubts about the previous negative comments, the instructions clearly state that the reeds are allowed to vibrate when they are introduced into the instrument. You really need to put more mouthpieces in your mouth than you need for a clarinet, whistle or recorder. For me, I had to blow around 30% on my tenor recorder, but it was much smaller than the clarinet. With a little patience and practice, anyone can make a good sound. If my son wants one, I can buy another! Once you feel it, it will be fun to play and easy to learn. The producers of Hawaii Xaphoon also have some great scores.

As a music educator, Mini Pocket Saxophone is a good discovery for me. I like to find new instruments and new and simpler ways of making music, and I can get it both economically and technically. Below 100NZ, I have a musical instrument that sounds like a soprano saxophone! I bought two now, one for me, one for borrowing money and now a 13-year-old boy who plays the saxophone in my church. It is strong and easy to carry. Adolf Sachs, he will recognize, I think :)

This is a great little instrument, but the fingering is a bit different from the saxophone and the recorder. If you think that because you can play a saxophone, a clarinet or a tape recorder, you can spend an hour to get the basic octave, then no. It's very valuable and well done, but it's a very different skill, and you're basically starting from scratch.

This is easy to play. In fact, I was able to download music for her and have a happy birthday for my wife's birthday, because I was still trying to learn the saxophone, which surprised her. Great instrument because it helps me breathe, so now I use both, this and my saxophone. This Xaphoon is helping me get back on track, and I can grab and play at any time, anywhere, without having to put together the parts, open the package and take it with me. I found it cheaper, but I know you got the price you paid and I think it's worth it. I'm glad I asked for it.

I do not have the experience of a saxophone. I do not know if I can play it. I ordered this mini saxophone and a Yamaha 4C alto saxophone mouthpiece as a trial version. I discovered that I can use the ammunition to make the right notes. I bought a tall saxophone and I think I can play it. Ammoon is convenient and convenient, I continue to play to develop my breathing and oral technology.

The product is nice and fun to mess around with. I couldn't really find too much music that I wanted to play with it. If you really wanted to play it fully you would need to memorize notes so you can use sheet music. Otherwise fun. Has a nice sound and is not hard to play once you get used to it. I would say use normal reeds not plastic but good. Wise it had sharp keys but good. Instructions were not very in detail but nothing you couldn't find on YouTube.
