    There's not much to say about stands like this. It was too short for my current mic'ing needs, but with a camera adapter, it's been 100% perfect as a ring light stand. The rubber feet make sure it doesn't move unless I want it to. If you did need it for a mic, it took both an SM57 and the E609 I put on it without any issue.

    Needed a way to stand a microphone on my desk, without a full clamp mount solution. This small tripod is more than sturdy enough, and doesn't tip over even with a heavy filter clipped on the front. Folds up compact for storage.

    OK, so it shipped with one of its feet missing (hence one star off), but for 11 bucks this thing is holding my Yeti X on a HUGE Radius iii shock mount with a goose neck pop filter. That it's stable enough to be functional is impressive. It's not so stable that I'd let my fifth grader (or an artist formerly in fifth grade) use this rig unattended, but if you're a little careful it's totally serviceable. It also collapses down into nothing. Its build quality and overall chic is way more than I was expecting for $11. Threads are standard and snug. If it had its missing foot, it'd be six stars.
