I have a lot of speed pedals, but without the distortion pedal, I need to get a good distortion as a low level. I bought a sweet dream and this austerity of luxury. The American dream is bright. In my Fender amplifiers (Blackface and Tweed), the Deluxe Crunch is not as bright and there is a lot of distortion at low volume. I gave it five stars because I got what I like at a low cost, which is always surprising. As time goes by, we'll see how it stays.

This is an economical version of the traditional optical vibrato effect, which is very good compared to very expensive pedals. It is made in China using quality components. The two knobs control the intensity (depth) and speed, and their operation and sound are similar to the standard optical vibrato of the Fender amplifier. There are no changes in tone or filters associated with the effect, and the level of the effect (internally adjustable) coincides well with the level of derivation. When the effect is enabled, the red LED flashes with the LFO. The true bypass switch is a standard 3-pole switch on many DIY pedals with a relatively large click. Internally, there is a double layer fiberglass main PCB with through hole components and a separate PCB for the bypass switch. These potentiometers are Alpha Taiwan (very good), the operational amplifiers are low-noise J-FET input operational amplifiers TI0 and STI TL061 and TL062, the resistors are metal film type (excellent), and the type of coupling capacitor is plastic film (very good). There are two trimmer potentiometers on the PCB (accessible only by removing the PCB) to establish the total volume and maximum intensity of the LFO. The case is made of cast aluminum and the bottom is made of 062 steel plate. The lower plate has a Roland viscous rubber mat and a convenient plastic access door with battery clip. Advantages: good sound, true bypass, low noise, good level, good control range, good shape of LFO, quality structure and components, and low price. Disadvantages: the DC input connector is recessed and slightly offset (it can cause problems with some budget type chain cables, the plastic overmolding is wide, but it works well with the One Spot and Power All cables). Overall, this is an excellent pedal that is worth having.

The excellent sound is not like the complete "splatty" chord like the real 808, the notes are mixed. I also think it has less income and maintenance. But in all other aspects, VO is more suitable for my voice. Even if he wins, it's good and clear. It has a medium tone bump for the block and a mono cable that the 808 does not have. I cannot guarantee that it is legally a true bypass, but it will not stink the tone. At least not in my configuration. Lack of income is not a problem for me because I have added a collection booster. But for some people, this will be a setback. Also, although tone control is music for me, I won't call it versatile. It is not very high range. If you are looking for an 808 style sound but are not looking for a transcript, you will be happy. This is not "good for the price", but I have estimated a very good pedal, which is quite affordable.

I bought Behringer Superfuzz for the first time. That pedal is terrible. Then I ordered this excellent JF-12. This is exactly what I think the Behringer pedal will do. You can get metal, blue, punk and hardcore sounds with this pedal. What I want can make a good black Saturday and a black flag tone. It can be done very well, not perfect, without pedals, but it can mark some great tones. You can even mark some metallic tones. I also play metal but use Electro Harmonics Metal Muff With Top Boost. This Joyo pedal will not let you lose your tone and will not eliminate your sound as Superfuzz. With Superfuzz, you can't even get frett harmonics, much less pinch the harmonics. This pedal does not affect, it is very important for me. If you set it up correctly, it will give you some comments, think of Nirvana. Big pedal. I will buy it again if it is obsolete, but it looks very good and resistant.

Concerned about the quality, but the pot has good resistance and has a solid condition. If you are building your own jack / knob / housing / switch it will cost a lot! In fact, this can be a good way to experiment with custom pedals: reuse these helmets because they are already cheap. Simply paint the box or use masking tape to make the label! In any case, for this pedal, I'm not sure if I will use the multifunction unit or a separate pedal, and the only way the individual pedals can even address the cost is Joyo. So I only have one to give it a try. I used some fender amplifiers and a VOX, and I played a tactical, remote and modern TV, SG jr, they all sound great. A little extra noise, but it's a big boost, so you can improve any noise your guitar already has. Recently I sold some guitars and got a show as a bass player, this even applies to bass! Ibanez TS needs a bass boost pedal, otherwise it kills the low end, but with this Joyo, it can be used as a bass overload. (There is still a bit of loss of bass, but the tone can be used for bass!) I tried Zoom B3 (returned due to incompatibility with iOS) and the price, for live performances, I think it can't be beat But there are some about having real pedals Something ... and at this price, spending a little more will not be so bad. I hope Octaver and Chorus work correctly on bass!

I'm always skeptical about buying pedals because I can't prove it for myself. But after reading the review and watching your demo, it sounds exactly what I want. For $ 40, I don't think it's going to go wrong. Ok, I found my ears waiting patiently! I have several distortion effects, some of which claim to be "British amplifier distortion." But they have not achieved what Deluxe Crunch can do. This pedal really sounds like Marshall's battery has reached its limit! It has the tactile sensitivity, the harmonics and the sharp that I want. Presence control adds a lot to the sound. Not only increases clarity, but also increases the volume. Another advantage of this pedal is that there is no noise. After that I don't have to use the soundproof door. How cool it is! However, this pedal itself does not have a full amplifier sound. You should place it in front of a clean tube amplifier. In my case, I put it in front of my valve amplifier simulator pedal. In addition, it is too light! It is hard to believe that such a light pedal can produce such a good tone! If you want to play the pieces again, but the low tone depletes your ears, then do yourself a favor. You will not be disappointed!

Wow! This is better than expected. There is a lot of gain, but unlike the on / off variety, it is very dynamic and responsive. When the gain knob changes from a sweet tone to a muddy blur, it never reaches this point. It has always been linear. It almost reaches the same level of handling as my Metal Muff, but it has those kinds of high gain rock tones. I am surprised at how good this sounds and how good it feels. I used to spend $ 30 on any guitar.

Not a lot to add to the other positive reviews - this is a great bang for the buck overdrive pedal. I'll disagree with those that imply you need to pair it with a good tube amp - you'll get good crunch in front of a solid state amp, or even when recorded direct in. Solves a dilemma that lots of bedroom guitarists have - how to get a nice overdriven sound at low volumes. Goes from subtle overdrive to over-the-top metal distortion with tons of sustain. Acceptable level of noise for pedals that do the overdrive/distortion thing. Don't expect 100% quiet - especially at more extreme settings. Everything about the pedal seems sturdy and solid, except for the switch which feels cheap (seems flimsier than my other Joyo, a Dyna Compressor.) It also takes more pressure to engage than other pedals. Yeah, it's a budget pedal, but Joyo should spend a couple more bucks (if that) on the switch - I don't think anyone would object to paying just a little more for this pedal. Yuck to the insufficient contrast between the stompbox color and the lettering for the controls, which makes it VERY hard to read. The problem is compounded for the top two controls - "Volume" and "Dist" - since the pointy dials (which I love, by the way) can also partially obscure the lettering. Other folks may not care but I like controls clearly labeled and am going to use some paint or stickers on this one. If you use batteries for your pedals note that there is no outside battery compartment - another cost cutting move - and you have to unscrew 4 easily losable screws on the back to change batteries. The LED dims when you need to change batteries, so you do get a heads up. Obviously not an issue if you use external power. And as an aside, note that the standard 9V DC connector is located on the right of the pedal, just below the input jack, and not at the top. I don't have any significant reservations about recommending the Deluxe Crunch because it oozes oodles of good sounds. I'm knocking the pedal down a star because even at this price point it could be improved upon and Tomtop doesn't let me give it 4-1/2. A worthwhile addition whether you are on a budget or not.

I bought this to replace the Boss compression pedal I had. I don't do a lot of metal and wanted a pedal that would tighten the sound weather I was using my electric or acoustic and the Boss just made too much noise. I really like this pedal and run my acoustic through it pretty often. It helps to bring a little more sustain through even when using my feedback buster and if I really get at it while I'm playing it adds a little crunch and sharpens the acoustic sound. It also works great with when I'm playing electric and evens the sound across my other effects combinations. Best of all, there's no extra noise when it's sustaining or when I'm playing lightly. It's a great pedal and I'm very happy with it!

I bought this for an "always on" pedal to make my sound more consistent, not as a "squishy" effect, so I didn't need it to do much. I can tell my sustain is improved, but the effect is so subtle, it doesn't change my tone at all. So if only as an improvement on my sustain, it's a great pedal. Does it compress my dynamics? I honestly can't tell.

I am slowly starting to test/try out my number of Jo-yo Pedals. This one particular ,as I am a big fan of the Tremolo effect and tend to use it a lot in my tone/sound. This so far seems like a competent tremolo effect? Time will tell??? But it has a nice variety of trem speeds. I like it alot! plus has pretty cool graphics and colors for the pedal boards!! some of these have some real nice chicken head knobs with bold cool Americana colors!! For the money, so far so good!!!!

I originally bought this pedal to use with my bass to get a more ambient sound. It isn't very prominent in my bass tone unless I play some higher notes. However, it does change the tone in a subtle manner, which I like. The pedal is much better on the guitar. Coupled with my reverb pedal I get some really good ambient sounds out of this thing. It feels very durable, much more than my behringer pedals. The "trigger" (couldn't think of a better word to describe the switch) isn't loud or obnoxious either, unlike my big bass muff. I'll look at Joyo again.

For the money spent, this pedal is nice. I will start by saying, however, that is is not a total digital delay. In a digital delay, there is no decay of notes played- it keeps repeating perfect copies of the note played. With analogue, there is more decay with each repeat (a copy of a copy of a copy, etc). Analogue delay is great and the pedal sounds good, but as a matter of technicality the title is a bit of a misnomer. The construction is solid and I have no complaints about durability. It is (as advertised) true bypass and does not color your tone. The sound is good- other than the fact that it is actually analogue it sounds good. It is reasonably versatile and can get a decent range of delay tones. Maybe not ideal for the 800MM "Edge" sounds, but it can give anything from slap-back to Floyd-esque sounds. the pedal is good on it's own, but I feel it works best stacked with other pedals on your board for extra delay, ambiance or texture. Not amazing, but a very good, usable pedal at an affordable price.
