This thing cost $30 and was the only 24 fret bold-on neck I could find, other than one for a Jackson guitar with triangular fret markers. I'm very please with it overall. I haven't installed it yet, but it looks good. Some info: The width at the nut (1 5/8") and at the heel of the neck are similar to the neck on my Fender Jaguar, probably to a Stratocaster or Telecaster. There is no cover for the truss rod hole at the head. The slots in the nut look shallow to me. I plan to file them deeper. The nut is placed at the end of the fretboard, rather than in a slot. Mine is made from two pieces of maple; there is a join that's just barely visible behind the second fret. The back of the neck has a satin finish. It may need a gloss coat. The black headstock finish is very shiny. The ends of the frets are smooth. The orange dots are paler than they appear in the product photos; this was a relief.
