Most of the comments here are about reverberation pedals, not about Dumbler. Then this is my opinion. I didn't play with the Dumble amplifier or its clones, maybe I've never played it in my life. But I have seen many YouTube videos about this amplifier, which costs as much as Mercedes or BMW. Then there are the manufacturers of boutique amplifiers like Fuchs, Two-Rock, Bludotone, etc., that try to replicate their sound signature, but still cost between 3 and 5 thousand dollars. Then there are the boutique pedals that mimic this sound, such as Zen Drive, Ethos, Royal OD, Zenkudo, Simble, etc., but the price is still above $ 200. You can buy a cheap valve amplifier head. But now we have this cheap clone pedal amplifier. I have to try one. This is a low to medium gain pedal. For high gain enthusiasts, this is not a distortion pedal. There is no sound of Marshall or Boogie here. As an independent pedal, it's like speeding. Most of the videos I've seen, critics are playing soft jazz or fusion. All my ODs sound softer. It is not as aggressive as OCD or Barber Direct Drive. It does not have the bite or grain of the BB preamp, nor the hump of the Tubescreamer tube. This will not make you sad, but who would you say? Your audience will not know that it is not BD-2. It has 4 knobs to play. In addition to volume and gain control, the two most important knobs are sound and tone. Adjust these two controls to your liking. A large number of available intermediate frequencies ensure that you hear the mix in the band environment. Mounted firmly in a small metal enclosure, taking up less space. The only thing that bothered me was that I couldn't see my settings on the 3 black buttons on the pedal. I had to use a white touch up paint with a stick to mark it. It works very well In general, this is a smooth sound overload. I still don't know what a Dumble amplifier sounds like. But the $ 30 pedal is also good. When in doubt, place a booster pedal or a tube in the front or rear, and then it will wobble and say like a distortion pedal.
