It did fit in my case after gently forcing it, cause the inside is made of polystyrene foam and can be expanded a little, though my suggestion would be making the piece that goes in the bell a little thiner at the bottom and so the other piece that needs to be screwed, that would make it fit better and fully honor its advertisement.

My daughter thinks this is the best design for a clarinet stand. The legs slide up and stowes neatly inside the clarinet bell when not in use. The part that comes in contact with the clarinet is covered in felt so it won"t harm the instrument. The only concern is it might be too light that one tiny shove could send the clarinet skidding across the floor. Otherwise, it's a brilliant design.
